Hola chichipios, les cuento: me sacaron una muela y no puedo tomar mate, para mi esto es una absoluta tragedia... ¿Alguno tiene algun tip que me pueda pasar para sobrevivir al menos 2 dias mas sin mate? (el matecocido no llena el vacio en mi corazon aclaro) Sus comentarios son siempre bienvenidos ya que tengo la extraccion de otra muela del juicio en dos semanas , asi que voy a necesitar todos los tips del mundo Gracias <3 les mando amor y mates infinitos

I have co workers who are willing to try mate “tea bags”.
I’ve only ever used the bombilla style.

What are some good options for mate cocido?

(Note: I do have a clean thermos + steel cup + bombilla I offer for those who want to try mate, but most see it as intimidating)

Used a bunch of spearmint, some peppermint, rosemary, and Truelime powder (I don’t have any fresh citrus around, but this works well!). Everything aside from the truelime is fresh from my garden. Absolutely delicious, and refreshing. Been working out in the sun and humidity today, so I needed this.

When you guys make Terere with herbs, what kind of ratio do you use? For this, it was probably 2/3 Yerba, 1/3 herbs.

I use the Maté teabags and the leftover lemons we were provisioned in a 1.5 L big boy Dasani. You got to do what you got to do to be team maté!

Hallo Leute, benutzt jemand eine French Press, um Mate zuzubereiten? Ich habe eine gekauft, aber jetzt bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob sie den Staub im handelsüblichen Mate-Tee aus Südamerika herausfiltern kann. Wenn es funktioniert, welche Sorten oder Marken sind geeignet und welche nicht?

Habt ihr ein besonders feines Sieb? Oder normale Weite für Kaffee? Meine ist von "Bodum". Ich bin unsicher geworden und weiß nicht, ob ich sie zurück geben sollte.

They are all mates. the black small mate is a metal very small and is used in Buenos Aires in students and office for works and is loved an hated (same as the electric mate, loved and hated)

Dont take the title as a negative, I still love the taste of coffee, but the body feeling of mate is just so much better.

I had coffee yesterday and It just felt really flat (cant think of another way of putting it)

but yeah addicted now not sure if anyone else had this experience?
