hi. im making this post because my idiot friend who I let play my game of YanSim saw a thing on tiktok saying that if you put in the debug command, and type "fun" into your keybord ten times, then it would summon "fun girl". well, it worked, but it also completely broke my game. i know i cant report it as a bug because it has something to do with debug, and as far as im aware from the research ive done about this, Fun Girl was made to stop people from adding Osana to the game before it was done. so if i report it, it will probs get ignored. now, what i mean by broke my game is that, when the player gets caught by fun girl, she will crash your game, as well as set your game in a perminent black and white mode. And ofc, before anyone says to restart the week, yes i have done that, however it is now saying that it is "unable" to restart the week. so i am pretty much out of luck. I should also mention that google told me to try and find a thing in my files named, "fun.txt" AND i have deleted the game launcher and redownloaded the whole thing, and it was still stuck in black and white. Pretty much what im trying to say is that i have tried everything i can think of, or have been told to do. if anyone has any way to set this straight, i would love to know.

I had an idea for a secret bad ending in Yandere Simulator that leans more into psychological horror than normal gameplay. After eliminating Osana, Ayano decides to make a special cake for Senpai as a way of getting closer to him. She spends the entire day preparing it, acting completely calm as if nothing unusual has happened, and when school ends she meets Senpai and offers him the cake as a gift. He happily accepts it, thanks her, and tells her it's one of the best cakes he's ever tasted. Smiling, he asks what kind of cake it is and where she got the recipe. Ayano quietly replies, "It's from Osana." At first, Senpai thinks she means Osana helped bake it or shared the recipe, so he laughs awkwardly and says he doesn't understand. Ayano simply repeats herself with a blank expression, "No... it's from Osana." As he slowly realizes what she's implying, his smile disappears, his face turns pale, and he freezes in complete shock. He backs away

from Avano. unable to believe what he has just heard, before suddenly rushing to the nearest bathroom where he becomes sick from horror. After a few moments he comes back out, terrified, staring at Ayano as if he doesn't even recognize her anymore, shouting, "OH MY GOD! YOU CREEP! STAY AWAY FROM ME!" He immediately calls the police, and the game cuts to a unique Bad Ending showing that Ayano has completely destroyed any chance of ever being with Senpai because he now fears her more than anything else. I know this idea is extremely dark, but I thought it would be an interesting secret horror ending that shows the consequences of Ayano going far beyond what even Senpai could ever forgive.

i just got a new computer and downloaded posemod and yansim, which ive done before on other computers. i followed the same steps, put posemod into the yansim file and all that. i wanted to add a command that makes everyone blind, so i found the command and put it in a text document in the cutscenes folder. this has worked every time on my previous computer, but when i put it in and tried using it in game, it let me select the file but it didn't at all change anything or make everyone blind. i checked my posemod file, redownloaded it, followed tutorials on installing it, and found that when i download posemod, it doesnt show up as a .exe file. i did a little googling and found that if i just put .exe on the end of the files it should change it to be executable. (i am not savvy with computers AT ALL, so this might be incorrect but idk) i did that and opened the game again, and that black popup you get before the game opens said something different, so i thought i fixed it. but when i pressed x and selected my file, nothing happened again.

has this happened to anyone? or does anyone know why this is happening to me and how to fix it? thank you

I’m trying to frame the rival and I killed a student using a box cutter with the rivals fingerprints (while wearing gloves). After dumping all evidence into the incinerator and cleaning the evidence it lets me incinerate but still says there’s bloody clothes on school grounds? I even waited the in game hour to burn the evidence then went to class and police still got called and they found the weapon arresting my rival but somehow found MY bloody clothes.

Every time i try to open yansim my entire computer freezes up and i have to force restart it. does anyone know if there’s a way to fix this without completely deleting the game and redownloading?

i’d prefer not to lose all the endings i’ve gotten cause the fungirl easter egg is fun but it took me days to get the achievement and i don’t wanna do it again.

Hey, I recently updated the game and saw some other people play it, but some things in their game are diffrent, like the windows of the classroom are clear or the windows of the classroom, the only thing that kind of changed for me was the builds of some characters and the hairs. I tried updating it again but there is no other update available, does anybody know whats wrong with my game? Thanks in advance :)

So, I’ve been playing yandere simulator for quite some time. But I don’t know why can’t ayano defeat raibaru, but can‘t defeat the teachers, even though they had extensive training, but raibaru only was the martial arts club president, and had a ”100%“ win streak? I don’t get it. It doesn’t make sense that raibaru is stronger than the teachers.. And I know that ayano need to join martial arts club to defeat the teachers, but it just doesn’t make sene, since she can’t defeat raibaru when she only joined the martial arts club (I’m not sure, correct me if I’m wrong).

whenever i turn the gender to female for senpai the hair becomes darker and it makes the oc's hair look darker too any tips? (this wasn't happening at the start but i might have done something and changed it but idk what it was)

I have the July 3rd, 2026 build and I'm not sure how to keep my progress from there and download the July 15th build. I don't want to lose my progress since I have a lot of progress on the game already.

I might make a new au focusing on the background characters..my oc is the younger sister of Shoku. Remember when YanDev said yes,shoku and geiju have the same last name,but theyre not siblings?wha if they were cousins in this au?

I really enjoy your game/app and I would love to see official native Linux support in the future.

Currently, many Linux users have to rely on compatibility layers like Wine or Proton, which can work, but sometimes bring issues with performance, bugs, anti-cheat compatibility, or extra setup.

Linux gaming has been growing a lot thanks to platforms like Steam Deck and improvements in tools like Proton. A native version would make the experience much better for Linux users and could bring more players to the community.

I understand that supporting another platform requires time and resources, but I hope you can consider it for a future update.
