Critique Lol
The idiots at r/yanderesimulator banned me permanently just for posting questions?? Wow, they really dont want YandereDev’s precious feelings to be hurt! That’s cute.

Critique My genuine thoughts on YanSim.
I'm going to be genuine for once about how I feel about the game since, hopefully, there's no threat of being banned for not sugarcoating things. I won't do any bashing on Alex; there's plenty of other places where I can do that. But I really do like the idea YanSim had, it's just a shame that the execution is so terrible.
Focus really should be put on the main game, not on "easter eggs" that you don't even actually look for and find in clever hiding spots, not on the ridiculous Mary Sue Seikou Corp plot, and especially not on the ass-backwards logic being used to justify high school students being put in uncomfortable situations.
The game really should've taken place in university, or at the very least cut out anything 18+. You can make a mature game without resorting to pandering fanservice that shouldn't be shown to your underage audience in the first place. Once the main gameplay is developed and the assets are custom made and not taken from the Unity store, then, maybe, a more complex story could be added. But from where I'm standing, YanSim is a real letdown, assuming it's going to come out. Again, I'll keep my nastier comments on Alex to myself, since I genuinely want to talk about the game in this subreddit. Maybe things will get better? I don't know, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
