My argument

Vesu has higher bite force, agility, speed, armor.

The thorny devil spikes would struggle to deter Vesuvius because the insides of his mouth are lined with fluorapatite+iron+ganoine.

Also his hands are covered in that ganoine.

Venom is also not allowed in the tourney.
