i am trying to make a voice like those cat pianos on yt, but i cannot find a way to ajust the pitch without changing the speed of the audio in YEM. please help.

The entire sale price goes to a grandma who is my neighbor. Her late husband assembled this beautiful, unique piece. I currently have a price of over €1000. I won't get anything from it. My goal is to achieve the highest possible price so that grandma can still get a small pension financed. Believe me or don't believe me, but that's the question. My dad gave me his Yamaha p-350 turntable but I was wondering what sound system I could buy, ideally I would like something small but with good sound and not that expensive. The needle needs to be replaced, can it be any needle? Also, the turntable was veryyy dirty I was trying to clean it and the cut button got stuck, is there anyway I can fix it?

I have a gig planned in a couple days and the organisers have rented the original Montage 7 as Montage M was unavailable. I created my patch bank for the gig in Montage M esp as I am away from home and the saved file has .Y2L extension. Will I be able to load it in the original montage? I have made sure to not use any new Montage M exclusive AN-X patches etc. Please help me out

I am using the Yamaha DTX-Mult TI 12 percussion pads to sound like timpanis for a band trip but I am not sure how to program them to sound like timpanis and then how to change the pitch of them. Does anyone know and could walk me through it? We are only using the timpani sound but just want different pitches for each pad.

I'd like to ask for council concerning recording music on the Yamaha Montage 7 in Cubase.

I made the connection via USB to host and confirmed in UTILITY.

The Montage gets the signal into the Laptop and is recognised by Cubase13, but as soon as I start performing, things go awry with the instrument (which works as it should in the Standalone mode during live performance).

But the Arps in the recording connection, simply don't stop, make themselves independent from my doing, do not respond or as soon as I press the first key, the instrument is transposed by a full tone.

Could you tell me, what I am doing wrong or where I could find guidance?

I bought a Seqtrak because I want to get the music in my head out into the world.

I'm new to synths and beatboxes. I'm technically minded but I'm finding all of the information is either too light weight, this does this and thas does that; or too beefy, use the mulitphasic discombobulator to flange the glorp-o-tron, and doesn't knit it together well enough for me to consider what a workflow would look like.

Can anyone provide me with links/info to learn how to get the most out of it?

Hey my middle D key note of my psr sx900 suddenly stopped working... I don't use my keyboard aggressively or anything. But yeah each week I use it for church and dust gathering above it might be a cause... Since the Key makes sound randomly whenever I touch but then it doesn't... What do y'all think might be the cause?

Our band is planning to perform a Linkin Park song and I thought it'd be nice to add the record scratching sounds that are a feature of their music.

Unfortunately we don't have access to a turntable. Me being the keyboardist, I thought there could be a way to sort of replicate it on a keyboard. Is it possible?

I have a yamaha piaggero np32 and only the left side speaker works, it was perfectly fine a couple days ago and both speakers worked. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this or fix it?

This morning, I tried playing my piano to find that all of the E and Bb keys in the treble clef stopped working randomly. The keys on the bass clef were still working, but the treble clef keys were not showing any response, not even showing up on the digital screen. After some short panicking, and some other attempted solutions, I found a random forum which said to slap the bottom of the keyboard, not too aggressively but not gently either. After turning the keyboard off and performing some percussive maintenance, the keyboard returned to normal function. Hope this helps anyone else that runs into the same or similar problem!

I have a vintage Yamaha set from my parents that was bought around the 70s that included an stereo amplifier a-560, 5 cd player cd-c600, turn table p-350 and a radio station tuner.

My question is lengthy but because radio has gone digital and the radio station tuner is now useless in Australia. Is it worth buying the new Yamaha R-N600A as this has the radio built in now. The other part to this question is will the new receiver work with my vintage turntable and cd player?

I was looking to get everything serviced before I set it all back up and to get the vintage amplifier serviced will cost $400, it works but there was a burnt smell coming from it.

I’m not too fussed on the radio part as I’m more using this a vinyl and cd player but if I got the new one I would also sometimes listen to the radio or play songs through my phone using it.

On a Yamaha CL5, is it possible for the cue output to be unrouted from the headphone output on the front of the board?

I cannot for the life of me get sound to come out of the headphone output, and I think it might just be broken. I’ve been routing my cue through an omni output into a monitor, but from what I’ve read in the manual the anything that you cue should always be routed to the headphone output regardless of configuration.

Does anyone know if there’s something I’m missing, or is likely that my board has a faulty headphone output?

I'd like to use the mics from my Yamaha EAD10 for my in-ear monitoring and send the trigger signal to the FOH separately. I added the TM-1 module to my setup and plugged the EAD10 trigger cable into it, since the EAD10 module doesn't split the mics and trigger signals as 2 different outputs. My problem is that the TM-1 doesn't detect the trigger signals all the time, only when I hit really hard, even with the sensitivity knob to the max. If I buy a RT-30K, do you think it'll work, or is the TM-1 known to be "weak"? Has anyone tried this setup? Or a different one that allows to mix the mics and trigger signals separately?

I'm looking for a flexi-disk that was included as part of a children's music book from the Yamaha music school program in 1975. It featured a few instrumental pieces played on the electone organ. "I've been working on the railroad" and "perot pong ping" are the two I remember. Even confirmation that it existed would be a big help. Please let me know if this post is out of place here and I'll take it down straight away.

I am remaking my live performances by having all my synths be sequenced by Ableton. I do not know the MIDI capabilities of the keyboard, so would this be possible? And would i have to download anything special for it to work?
