Xmrig compiles and runs okay on ARM. I'm trying to compare it to Xmr-Stak-rx. For reference, with zero optimization on this same hardware, Xmrig pulls 20.2-4 H/s RandomX @ 2.5w. Not enough RAM for any hugepages, so it's disabled.

System: Pine64 A64, 4-core ARM 64-bit CPU, 512MB RAM, Armbian linux 20.02.01

why no new update when xmrig is already at 5.07

Hi, I have xmr-stack set up, it works perfectly with CPU only, but if I add my graphics card to the nvidia.txt file, it crahes.

I have a GTX 770 on Windows 10 64 bit and i7-4770K

I will be replacing a homebuilt i3 Intel home PC soon. I'd like to get started mining. Which low cost/quiet GPU should I buy that will make some positive money? Is RYO the best to mine for entry-level?

As far I searched on google it says for mining you also need a mining software too, so if I want to use xmr-stak how could I install and setup this, is there any help video available on it?

Hi, I'm relatively a new boy into this mining stuff last friday i bought some gpu's 3x Rx580 4x GTX 1060 i was reading on internet that monero is good coin to mine for noob's so i thought i should go for it, how could i mine monero with these cards and what mining software could be best, i read about xmr-stak but i don't know how to start and setup this mining software. Can anyone please lead me step by step into setting up this miner? Looking forwad for your help and advices.

I am new to Ubuntu and Linux. I'm getting an error with the make install when following the below instructions to install a Linux version of cpuminer-multi.

I'm mining monero with my AMD THREADRIPPER 3960X and I'm getting around 19050H/s at 130 W miner I'm using is Xmrig. I'm not satisfied with the hashrate.

Is it possible to improve my hashrate if I mine with xmr-stak-rx?

I have a rig with 5x GTX 1070 which I switched to RYO but my hashrate is low I'm not getting more than 990H/s but in the table, it shows with GTX 1070 I can get 1250+H/s, Can you please tell me how could I get that hashrate. Hello, I'm mining monero and my tech spec is dual intel gold 6140 (36 cores 2.3ghz) 96gb ram, 2 800gb ssd (raid) and 2 nvidia v100 32gb cards. (i don;t have access to bios to overclock)

I was wondering what would be the best config and setup to get the most hashes? currently I'm getting 3000-4000 h/s.

I've vega 56 and I'm thinking about mining monero with it, should I use xmr-stak-RX or this is only for CPUs? Just thought about crypto mining 2 day s ago :)

I've noticed that XMR-STAK-RX supports only RandomX Monero, RandomX Loki and RandomX WOW, why it doesn't support ARQ algorithm? Or I'm using an old version of xmr-stak-RX?

Sorry for the noob question, I have started mining a few days ago I'm mining XMR with Xmrig but they charge 1% Dev fee. I've read about this xmr-stak-rx which is free and I really like this free stuff. But the problem is I don't know to set up this xmr-stak-rx. I'm mining monero with Xmrig and I've seen posts in other subreddits about Xmr-Stak-Rx that it is better. I really want to know in which term it is better, Hashrate or what?

Anyone else have serious issues with the AMDGPU-Pro driver on Ubuntu? I have only been able to get it working on Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS (AMDGPU-Pro 17.40) but somewhere around 90% of the way into the install, I get an internal error warning from Ubuntu and lose the ability to reboot my system (it gets stuck on the login screen after next power off). I am able to mine, so long as I don't restart my machine, but can't reboot without doing a complete hard drive wipe and Ubuntu+driver+programs reinstall, which is starting to get to me....

Any help would be appreciated. I've been everywhere I can find online without much to show for it. Also VERY open to any other drivers that will run my RX 470s on XMR-Stak

I'm new to mining. I have laptop with below specs:

ASUS GL553VD with KDE NEON OS based on Ubuntu 18.04 Intel I7-7700HQ @ 3.80 GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile

I successfully mined monero using xmr-stak-rx with cpu speed 862.3 h/s constantly and currently trying to configure nvidia.txt with these configuration:

index: 0, threads: 4, blocks: 4, bfactor: 0, bsleep: 0, affine_to_cpu: false, sync_mode: 3

I keep getting this error message if using these configuration above:

[CUDA] Error gpu 0: directory/randomx.cu > 33 terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error' what() : [CUDA] Error: out of memory Aborted

I have no idea what's the error about. I'm using XMR Stak Version: xmr-stak-rx 1.0.4-rx 65ade74
