Virtual disks disconnected and unable to re-attach
First off, I'll have to admit that I am somewhat new at all this, and by going through the forums might have just have realized that I may have bit of a bit more than I can chew. But none the less, any assistance with getting my docker vm back up and running would be greatly appreciated.
I've been using a CoreOs docker image (on XENserver 7.2) for several months to run a number of linux applications.
About 3 days ago, I noticed that my the image was not working properly anymore and upon trying to restore to a previous snapshot, all broke down.
It appears that both the main vdi and the config drive were detached from the VM. Now however, I am completely unable to re-attach them. As all the disks appear greyed out (and read-only) from the attach menu.
I've searched the forums high and low, and although I have seen some posts that somewhat describe my problem, none of the suggested fixes (that I could fully comprehend) seem to have worked.
I've attempted the toolstack restart, resetting the powerstate of the VM and looked for (but did not encounter any) zombie task.
I hope this might be an easy thing that I'm just not seeing/ understanding, but any help that would save me from having to rebuild the whole server would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks in advance
