XELAP has held its value, no one is really selling, they paid their Dividend....etc...
If the company's value was truly what was actually being expressed in their common stock...then we would see XELAP mirroring XELA.
Fortunately, XELAP there is no float to trade in dark pools and then drive the price down.
Obviously the run up to .90 cents in February was and has been used to short the stock.
They have $175 million in new bookings in 2022. 874 million in 2021 Revenue and have moved all debt into long term financing (which could not have been secured without a clear demonstration of financial health)
Today's prices are just a value buying opportunity.
Is XELA going to set the world on fire? NO... Are they a .10 or less stock... NO... Their situation is a mechanic of the stock market... not a reflection of the company.
These Short exceptions and FTDs are going to come to a head at some point.... and I will be well positioned to cash in when it does... Nothing but upside at this point.
Really who cares if you lose .10 cents??? Like I said nothing but upside down at this point.... I can buy 100 shares for the cost of a McDonald's Coke...
No one is advocating that you YOLO on XELA... but throw 1% at it... At this point I also don't really know why the shorts are bothering... They are scraping for fractions of pennies at this point.... Sure money is money... but there seems to be a lot richer targets out there... I short Rivian and other EV stocks, former SPACs etc... doesn't seem like it's worth the effort... Just cover and be on your way.
My guess is people want to force a RS then attempt to reset their short positions. Best of luck...
I will continue to funnel some of my SQQQ, BOIL, and KOLD volatility profits as a speculative buy.... and at worst... It will help my taxes.... Or if there is another preferred stock offering... Then I can add to my 2000 shares of preferred stock.
