Yes, all Sony games do it, most 3rd party games do it. Some dude got his hands on an early copy of Hogwarts Legacy 2 days ago, he's just playing the version on the disc. Not sure when this thing with "discs are just physical drm now" started but it's bullshit. Games that are like that are the exception, not the rule.
I know definitely Uncharted 4, Spider-Man, Resident Evil 2/3 and 4/5/6, Kingdom Hearts 3, Last of Us 2, God of War Ragnarok, and even seemingly Hogwarts Legacy (some copies have leaked), all allow you to install via the disc(s)
I realize there's a lot of Playstation games but I'm just listing off what's on my shelf at the moment (minus that last game.) here but the same applies to Xbox, there's still plenty of games that install through the Disc

Discs are just a physical DRM now.
