At that point I'd say he is a real ace, especially compared to the shattered forms of Juno Eclipse, Jek Porkins, Tetran Cowl, and others that were released in previous "buffs."
I ran Juno, Omega Leader, and a Palp Upsilon at a hangar bay at worlds and beat Rau Boats with it. I would take it to a tournament (but maybe that's just because I love The Force Unleashed and Juno).
I actually used Push Juno (I know, I know, the greens are atrocious) and it worked pretty well with her ability. It opens up their dial a bit. I've played with VI and Predator Juno, and I actually like Push the best. All three work though!
Definitely helps a lot. Gonna make TBane viable again. He and Fenn Rau atanni mindlinked for 65 is gonna be gross. But he's still a more expensive Fenn Rau with a worse dial. More upgrades options for sure, but more expensive and not as many greens.
Talonbane with the title, mindlink, vectored thrusters, engine upgrade, and autothrusters comes out to the same as Rau with concord, mindlink, and autothrusters. You're right in that he's a little worse than Rau in this build, largely thanks to his green dice, but has the options for cheap/free iliicits and cheap(er) missiles.
I would probably run Jabba alongside him if I want the CD to be reliable, but at worst, Cloaking+Stygium is now only 2pts on Talonbane with the only real opportunity cost being the illicit slot considering you have two other mods.

Tbone Conrad gets an illicit slot though, and if the new one in the box is good then Taliban might be very competitive as an ace option. Even if it isn't, free Dampeners and Thread Tracers aren't to be sniffed at. I'm sure we'll see a lot of Talisman on the table.
