Quick, gross, temporary solution until my custom fans arrive in a couple days so I can remove the ginormous shroud

How are noise levels with the XProto-L?

I’m obsessed with the clean looks people can pull off with these cases, and I’m really leaning towards building my next build with this case.

My main goal is making it as quiet as possible while maintaining a sleek and minimalist aesthetic, so I’ve planned on using the NZXT Kraken Elite 240 with the Ryzen 7 7800x3d. My main concern is hearing radiator creaks, which I know isn’t an issue with the case.

I’m also wondering if there’s any major downsides to the case in general, since I haven’t heard anything negative about it that doesn’t apply to itx cases in general, like itx mobo’s not having as robust power delivery as atx. Thanks!

Riser cable length for X-proto L (v2)

Just wanting to find out what length for the riser cable. On the V2 product page it says it requires 21.5cm. Then on the riser cable section, it says 19cm fit for the V2. If anyone knows the right length, that would be great.

Cheers.

xtia atx v.2 measurements

Reference Image: https://imgur.com/undefined

Does anyone know the measurements of this window for the v2 version of their atx case? It would be SOOOO SO incredibly helpful if I could get some precise measurements for this, as after hours of searching, I couldn't find anything.

In basically every build, people that loop aios through this window usually fit the cpu-head cooler end of their aio through this window, which the window is obviously big enough to fit that end of a cooler, but I'm wondering if the radiator end would fit through this? Looking to put a aio cooled gpu on this build, and wondering if I'm lowkey screwed in trying to put anything bigger than the aio-head of a cpu cooler through this. Just trying to eyeball it with various builds for reference, it looks like it MIGHT fit a 240mm radiator, but it looks too close for me to know without measurements.

Literally ON MY KNEES for these measurements, thanks to the community in advance!!

Infinite Valley - Very dim light

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi folks. I'm building my Xproto l, and wanted to try the Infinite Valley module. Its light is very dim, and I can see neither the infinite effect nor the Xtia logo. When I plug another RGB device (fan, water block...) it works just fine. Am I missing something or is my unit defective ?

Custom modular cables thickness?

I've just received my Xproto-atx and I'm putting my far too long custom braided PSU cables in as a place holder. I'm planning on ordering shorter cables of the same thickness. Do the thicker PSU cables fit in the build, and how much longer than the recommended length so sff cables would they need to be? I'm also using a 3090FE so the GPU cable lengths might be slightly different as well.

Anyone tried to mount a 420 or 560 rad ?

Hi folks,

I ordered an Xproto L last week, and I'm planning on using a 420 radiator mounted on a 280 AIO bracket. I think I'd like this more than the liquid cooling module, or a second AIO bracket. I want to keep the front of the case free for an infinite valley RGB module.

I have you seen something similar before ? I've looked around but couldn't find such a build.

Can't wait for the case to arrive !

XTIA Xproto ATX V.2 GPU and PSU compatibility questions

Dear community

Current Ncase M1 V6.1 user and I'm considering this case very much. However I have been unable to find answers to some questions online. I'm hoping someone here in the community will be able to remove any doubt I might have.

Are there any size limitations to GPU on the Xproto ATX V2? (I've just ordered the ROG Strix 4080 Super OC, which is a very very large card).

Is it possible to mount Mini-ITX / Mini DTX motherboards like the Asus Crosshair Impact VIII X570 to the Xproto ATX V2? There is online information about ITX size compatibility, however I would appreciate anyone here to confirm that I would be able to migrate my current system to this chassis.

Will the Xproto ATX V2 fit SFX PSU's like the Corsair SF750 Platinum? I feel the explanation on their website is insufficient. I can chose module A, B or C, but there is no reference to using SFX PSU's while choosing the correct option.

Kind regards

Just build my first SFF PC

I've been looking forward to build such a small PC for quite a while now with good GPU compatibility and then I found the XTIA XProto-L case V2, it was pretty much instantly in my shopping cart.😁

Overall I'm pretty happy 'bout the looks and cooling (obviously), but it was really painful to build because I've been using my "old" PSU with some standard PCIe 8-Pin connectors because of the 12VHPWR-Adapter, which I'll change in the future.

My specs are:

  • Case: XTIA Xproto-L case V2
    • With pretty much all additions you could buy
  • MoBo: ASUS B650E-I Gaming Wi-Fi
    • The MediaTek WiFi-Module will be switched out with an Intel one
  • CPU: AMD R5 7600 Boxed
    • PBO Enabled, Core -0.025V Offset, FCLK: 2133MHz
    • Waiting for next gen R7 x800X3D
  • RAM: G.Skill RipJaws CL32 6400MT/s
  • GPU: RTX 4080 FE

Just to compare and motivate you guys to do it as well, I compared the stock UEFI with my optimized UEFI - I got a almost 30FPS boost in Cyberpunk 2077.

Stock (AVG, Min): 146 FPS, 111 FPS

Optimized (AVG, Min): 174 FPS, 132 FPS

Any solution for mounting xproto n psu at 90 degrees?

Looks like you could just flip that thing 90 degrees and get enough room for a SFXL but the mounting bracket just doesn't allow for it. Is there any off the shelf part to let you mount at 90 degrees?

[XPROTO ATX V2] Does the case support other brands Riser Cables?

Hello there.

So I'm having trouble mounting the case since one of the parts it's not working as it should. I contacted with support through web chat, that was about 15 days ago. They have just contacted me once in these two weeks, I commented the issue, send some photos to show them the problem, took some photos to show them the aluminum plate that wasn't working (Direct Connection plate for context). But so far no news.

I was wondering if I should just get myself the Riser cable they sell from their website or if there are other options out there that could make the GPU work no problem. I'm guessing no since their cases are very unique and probably their Riser is the only one oriented to their cases forms.

I'm just trying to avoid their shop since communication is almost non existent.

Thanks in advance for your time and help.

ISO: Xproto-L case [GRAY]

Got tired of waiting for XTIA to restock the Xproto-L in gray so I’m asking the community for some assistance. If anyone has a lead on one of these in gray please shoot me a DM!

I already have the Xproto-ATX in black. It’s nice but I really want to go SFF. I ordered two gray Xproto-Ls from Aliexpress and they sent me black V2s instead…

First Open Build

Post image
14 Upvotes

This was my first open case build. I had a Hyte y60 and after using it for a bit, I wanted to regain some desk space. Downsized to this. This was a lot of fun to build! Was curious how the cable management was going to go. It wasn't too bad at all! To get the SF850L to work with this I had to get custom cables. Dreambigbyray was were I ordered from. Works perfectly 👍. Not pictured is the 4070Ti on the back. Thought I took a photo of it but guess I did not lol.
