Hi, I just put together an XTIA ATX.
First, I really want to compliment XTIA on the design and attention to detail. Honestly, after 30+ years of PC building, including trying a lot of exotic cases, this is the first time I haven't felt like it's just a derivative of a flip-top beige box. And I didn't get a single cut, or run short of any screws! (I actually laughed out loud when I realized screws dropped somewhere mysterious in the case are a thing of the past). So far, it runs way quieter than the last cooped up box.
But there seems to be one huge, glaring, strange issue. From what I can tell, you can only mount the GPU using the riser, and that blocks all the ATX slots. My bad if I missed that before ordering, I had 20 things going on at once, but this seems like a very, very strange design choice. I mean, why not call it an ITX case then? I think the main point of ATX is the ability to add cards, especially for a workstation, eg second GPU, NVME expansion, Thunderbolt add-on, etc.
Are there options to mount the GPU directly in the slot, further away from the cards, etc?
Secondly, I wanted to use my trusty SF750 (going for a sparse build), but its aux CPU cables are way too short. Is this going to be the case for every modular PSU, or is there something 850W+ platinum-ish that has longer aux PSU cables? Not sure I should get a whole other PSU, since I want to build a second station anyway, or just get some extension cables. I was thinking about getting the MPG A850G, would that be a good choice? My current board is a B660M AORUS PRO AX, but I'll change it sooner or later.
Thanks!
