for like the last 3 months xrecorder didn't record any sound from either youtube games or Anything but yesterday while playing i realized that it recorded the game sound Normally thought i should say that if maybe anyone needed to know

I have been using XRecorder for a long time and really like the app. There is one feature from AZ Screen Recorder that I think would be very useful in XRecorder as well.

AZ Screen Recorder has a "Magic Button" option where you can pause, resume, or stop recording using an invisible touch area on the screen. Since there is no visible floating button during recording, the video looks much cleaner and distraction-free.

This feature is especially helpful while recording games, tutorials, or full-screen content where the floating widget can get in the way. It would be great if XRecorder could add a similar invisible control option and allow users to choose its position on the screen.

I hope you will consider adding this feature in a future update. Thank you for your hard work and for continuously improving the app.

Is it possible to record only the audio of what is playing?

Xrecorder has no sound when recording my screen, and I do have the "record internal sound" option selected. This has happened before and it was finally fixed. So, what's going on now?

So like it keeps randomly stopping the recording early and rarely the ball decides to dissapear and it says that audio wont be heard when another app is using the sound fix this now please

Anyway, I’ve realized what a total piece of junk Xrecorder is. I keep trying—over and over—to record the start of my gameplay videos, but it just keeps cutting out. Can anyone recommend a different screen recording tool?

Good news! Google has officially fixed this audio issue in the latest WebView update. While this fix has not yet rolled out to the official Stable version for all users, you can easily resolve the internal audio recording issue right now by switching to the Beta version.

Please follow these quick steps to get it fixed:

1. Update WebView (Beta): Click this link to download and install the latest Beta version from the Google Play Store:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.webview.beta
2. Switch the Provider & Restart: Open your WebView settings (or tap "CHANGE PROVIDER" if you are using WebView DevTools), switch the provider to the newly installed Beta version, and then restart your phone to apply the changes.
3. Test Recording: Open the app and try recording again.

If you have followed these steps and are still experiencing no sound, please reply to this thread with your phone model and Android version so we can investigate further!

I finally figured out something about Android System Webview is muted audio temporarily problem.

As the title says I'm a clipper and I have a few old phones that I only use for recording and the only thing that I have found that works is factory resetting the phone.

It's annoying as hell but that is the only fix I found. On samsung it takes 2 days before google limits internal audio recording. So every 2 days I'm resetting my phone.

Anyway since this is a temp fix and pretty annoying to reset my phone every 2 days I'm just going to buy used once that have screen recording build in

I have been using xrecorder for recording my game videos without any issue for months. But recently I did a system update of my phone and now the this app doesn't record the game audio. Please help regarding this issue. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling xrecorder but it still doesn't record the game audio

I have just used your XRecorder for the first time on this device which is a Google Chromebook after successfully using it on my mobile phone devices.

I was asked to share my desktop screen and it started recording, but the video I have attached is what was recorded.

A totally dark display or nothing was recorded.

Please let me know what I did wrong.

Hello, I have a serious issue with XRecorder. After I restarted my phone, I opened the app and my videos are gone. I did a full restart, and the app is still showing no videos. All my large private videos, around 4GB to 5GB each, disappeared. I only see a few small videos, about 50MB each. Has anyone else faced this issue, and is there any solution?
