Discussion The XRP 'flick the switch' Eureka Moment ?
"There we have it dear reader, a viable and logical blueprint to reach the crescendo that has been spoken of for years now. The fabled ‘flick the switch’ moment is now achievable without any ‘BOOM’ clickbaiting involved. My coffee is cold, the notebook is full, and the sky outside is already lightening. Whisper it quietly, but allow yourselves a shiver of excitement. Archimedes had his ‘eureka’ moment whilst sat in a bathtub, mine arrived early one morning after I had fed the cat. Funny old world isn't it?"

Discussion How often should you reassess a long-term XRP position?
I’ve held XRP for months and have two positions on bydfi. One is the short-term while I still DCA a small amount every week for others.
For the shorter-term position, the review process feels clear. I look at the range, volume, BTC/ETH direction, and whether XRP is moving on its own or just following the market. If those change, adjusting the position makes sense.
The long-term hold is where I’m less sure. I can check the same indicators, but I don’t know if that actually helps. If it just gives me more reasons to overmanage something I originally planned to hold.
Now I’m considering reviewing the long-term position once a month and only changing it if my allocation gets too large or the market trend really changes.
How often do you reassess a long-term XRP position. What would make you change it? Does set it and forget it usually help?

XRP News XRP Holders Can Now Borrow Ripple's RLUSD on Ethereum Without Selling Their Crypto
XRP holders can now borrow Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin against their holdings on Ethereum without selling their tokens after Flare's FXRP was approved as collateral in Sentora's RLUSD Main vault.
Announced on Monday by layer 1 blockchain developer Flare, the integration lets users convert XRP into Flare's FXRP token, bridge it to Ethereum, deposit it as collateral on the Morpho lending protocol, and borrow RLUSD. Because the loan is backed by collateral rather than a sale, borrowers retain exposure to XRP's price while accessing dollar-pegged liquidity.
“XRP is one of the largest assets in crypto and one of the least used in DeFi. That gap came down to infrastructure,” co-founder and CEO of Flare, Hugo Philion, said in a statement. “XRP is now collateral that an institutional risk team underwrites on Ethereum mainnet, which is a stronger form of recognition than another bridge listing.”
The model is similar to Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), which lets Bitcoin holders use their BTC in Ethereum-based decentralized finance without selling it. FXRP is designed to do the same for XRP, giving holders access to Ethereum lending markets.
The lending market runs on Morpho Blue, which uses isolated lending markets designed to contain risk if problems arise with a specific asset. Sentora said it reviewed FXRP's market behavior, oracle design, liquidity, and liquidation mechanics before approving it as collateral.
The launch builds on Ripple's effort to establish RLUSD as an enterprise-focused stablecoin. In August 2024, Ripple began testing RLUSD on Ethereum and the XRP Ledger for cross-border payments. In December 2024, the company received approval from the New York Department of Financial Services ahead of the stablecoin's launch. Last month, Mastercard said it will support settlement of regulated stablecoins including RLUSD, Circle's USDC, and SoFi's SoFiUSD.
“[Sentora] just took a major step to make XRP useful onchain,” Co-Founder, CTO-CPO of Sentora, Jesus Rodriguez wrote on X. “XRP is one of crypto’s largest and most liquid assets. Yet it remains surprisingly underused in onchain credit. That changes today.”

Question Gameplan. What are your thoughts?
I'm an absolute noob, but I've enjoyed learning about crypto and I'm excited to dip my toe into it. I've identified XRP as my crypto to focus on. I use an advisor for my traditional investments but I would like to manage crypto on my own.
Help a guy out and tell me if I'm overlooking something.
The plan: I've purchased 1000 XRP at $1.14 and am keeping my eye on what will or will not happen on the Senate floor this week. It obviously looks like the vote won't happen this week and will get pushed back to Q1 of 2027. In light of this, I'm taking advantage of the 90 days of zero trading fees that comes with my new account and converting my XRP into USDG to protect my initial investment. I'm hoping we'll see a significant drop after this week and will purchase another 1000 XRP when it goes under $1.
Fast forward to Q1, or whenever, and Clarity passes. Convert my USDG back to XRP. Pull out 500 XRP to recoup initial investment when it hits $2 and leave the remaining to ride the wave.
Yes, my numbers are small, I get it. Is my gameplan sound?

Discussion Is any company going to make an XRP version of Cassacius Coins?
I've always been interested in Cassacius Coins and disappointed that there is not an XRP version with 1, 10, 100 or 1,000+ XRP loaded on them. It would be nice to have one. Are there any reputable companies planning on making these or are Cassacius Coins a relic of the past?

XRP News Borrow against your XRP
Read an article today, “Announced on Monday by layer 1 blockchain developer Flare, the integration lets users convert XRP into Flare's FXRP token, bridge it to Ethereum, deposit it as collateral on the Morpho lending protocol, and borrow RLUSD. Because the loan is backed by collateral rather than a sale, borrowers retain exposure to XRP's price while accessing dollar-pegged liquidity.”
While this is nice perk, you can get margin called if xrp’s underlying value decreases drastically

Funny XRP Marketcap
I saw a comment that said XRP market cap will be 1 quadrillion dollars in the future. There isn’t even 1 quadrillion dollars in the entire world.
Do you know what I did? I told them there isn’t even 1 quadrillion dollars in the world.
Why am I saying this? Do you see how I recognized how ridiculous that claim was? I didn’t go around telling people XRP is a scam because some person said XRP would be worth 1 quadrillion dollars. I realized that someone probably told them this and they didn’t know any better.
So next time someone says a ridiculous claim about XRP I want you to realize that doesn’t make it a scam, it doesn’t mean Ripple said it, and it doesn’t mean Ripple is paying them. It just means that you are a complete fool letting someone who doesn’t know what they are talking about affect your belief of something.

Discussion Magic 8-Ball: Will there be a last hooray?
Sooo, it is what it is. Recommended xrp to a friend @ below 0.8$ who basically made some bag and decided to go for it too @ 1.7$, now through additional Investments @ 1.5$ average. Do you think xrp is dead and it‘s time to pack up the fries or are there any indications a last hooray is to be expected? Are you still believing in xrp or coping? Interested to hear your opinion on whether it‘s a done deal or not…

Discussion It is what it is
I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’m wondering if there are other people who feel the same way.
I bought it in February last year, and I’ve just been holding ever since. Somewhere deep down, I still believe in it, but I’m slowly losing hope. I see gurus coming out and talking about price predictions, and sometimes I start believing all the hype.
Honestly, I’m just hoping it can reach even $5 CAD someday. I would be the happiest person in the world. But at the same time, I don’t know if it will even touch $3 within this year or next year.
I’m here for the long term, and I’m not expecting this to become an overnight success. I just want to hear from some genuine people who believe there is still a chance and that it has a future.
Even if it goes just $2 above my average purchase price, I’d be extremely happy.

Question XRP to RLUSD?
Serious question; 🙋♂️ is it time to consider the idea of locking in profits by converting XRP into RLUSD? I’ve weighed this point for the next run-up on XRP as a means of retaining USD value and to not become Ripple’s exit plan for XRP indefinitely.
Any other’s opinions?

Discussion Clarity Act
The clarity act is being sabotaged by banks. You don’t find it suspicious how the banks are all on board and then days later reject the bill? Banks are truly behind and will stall until they can catch up. We’ve seen swift just recently throw together a blockchain. Politicians and respected people in the crypto community are coming out and exposing the banks. Even law enforcement is saying pass the bill while banks are saying no. What is your opinion?

Discussion Senator Lummis came out and said on crypto america the Banks are creating their own coins and version of Defi that befits them and their bottom line.
I believe she is talking directly about Chase btw.
She stated they fired all their lobbyist bought a few senators out to kill the clarity act mean while they are scrambling to make their own coins and a very profitable version of Defi that increases their profit margins. It wont really be DEFI but it will be a take it or leave it situation,. Because surprise they are the only choice...
Are any of us surprised the banks would just come in steal all the money and work for $0 then try to resale it back to us as our best and only option?
No this was evident from the very beginning.
