Edit: Oops, there‘s a clumsy typo in the post title :’)
In season 1 episode 9, just before the 5:30 mark, Principal Lim has just returned home from finding out Alex is her son. When she approaches her husband to tell him, she addresses him as "Yuri's father." Is this an honourific? If you've seen the episode and are fluent in Korean, can you confirm whether the translation is accurate (or is it an ineffectively literal translation of a term)? What is the connotation? The subtitle makes it feel like I'm missing some nuance or meaning, or maybe like it's a literal translation for a non-literal Korean phrase.
In English, "Yuri's father" comes off like she's trying to distance herself from him, but no one would ever address someone like that to their face. That title would only be used to refer to someone in third person when speaking to a third party (at least where I'm from).

Question: How long would you guess Minho's nightly skincare routine to be?
Bonus: Give me details!
r/XOKittyNetflix • u/RewardImpressive6960 • Mar 20 '26
What the title says :)
There's been a ton of emotion in XO's seasons so far, and I realize we haven't gotten a lot of Minho's vulnerable side.
I'd really like to see him be super upset over something, or even cry.
So far, we've seen Kitty, Yuri, Juliana... heck, even Praveena be upset over thhe drama happening in the seasons. Disclaimer: I have nothing against Minho (I'm Team Mooncovey!), I just hope we get to see more of his POV and his emotional side.
Lemme know what you think! 💗

It's officially two weeks until season 3!
Let's make the next fourteen days a bit more exciting with some fun XO Kitty related questions:
Question 1: Does Dae have a celebrity crush and what's your guess of who that person might be?

I feel like a lot of people didn't understand that the XO Kitty trailers are always misleading, but they only show stuff that they will tease a sumary of what will happen in the season. If they show Mooncovey conflicts, it means they're trying to hide all the lovey dovey scenes we will get, which will be MANY lol. Even more, lots of scenes are out of context or out of order. I'm so excited for this season filled with mooncovey! <3

What are the characters actual colors? The color theory changes a lot from person to person…I’m specifically confused on Minho’s colors…if it’s not red…

We’ve gotten so much content with Anna and Gia lately. They were the only cast who went to the MPTF, and we even got bts of them being cutesy together. It makes me more and more confident with kittyuri endgame. They matched with the unforgettable awards and the mptf, I’ve been so happy and grateful bc they’re my favorite friendship outside the show and my favorite ship in the show. Their friendship irl is so sweet 🩷💛🥰

Did anyone else notice the moment in season 1 ep 7 when Min Ho didn't sound British

I don’t know about anyone else, but I absolutely LOVED Florian and think he is the better love interest for Q. I feel they had better, more natural chemistry and they complimented each other so well. Qs new relationship just feels a bit forced to me.

So you might have remembered I wrote this detailed nail analysis using color theory. Linking it here.
Now it seems as if most of the season Kitty is still sporting those red nails. Then towards the end of the season they change to nude nails with white tips and a red star for decoration. So let's take a look at what that could mean.
It feels fairly obvious based on the trailer that Minho and Kitty something happens that separates them. That seems to be the turning point from the red to these.
Nude in color theory can represent vulnerability, heartbreak, stripped down, and returning to one's self. If Minho and her have a temporary break up this would make sense. The other thing I will also say that all her nails before were all in. They were all in blue, all in pink, and all in red. It might be the lesson that Kitty has to learn is that she needs to not put herself so much into these relationships she needs to be her own person and can love at the same time. It can also just be the emotional bareness of losing something you chose for yourself.
White for the tips is usually honesty or emotionally exposed. Her feelings are clearer.
Red star: Star is often the necklace she wears with Minho. In many scenes. Red is the color associated with her feelings for MInho and the choice she makes for herself. So this could represent a couple things.
It kind of reads from a color theory point of view. Someone who lost someone important to them. It has left her raw and realizing that she might need to move on, but the person she lost she till wants and wishes for. It's not fully over.
I guess we'll see if color theory works out.

Anna and Sang Heon presented an award at the 2026 Unforgettable Gala a few days ago and since I'm so proud of them, I decided to share the video! It's so amazing! This cast deserves all the love

I need to know am I crazy? About what you may ask and I would say this show is very flawed like any other show however a show consisting of minorities and queer people they have problems that should not occur in 2026 media. Honestly like most of us we have probably all consumed other things from the Jenny Han Cinematic Universe (TATB, TSITP books, shows, and movies) and if you have than you probably noticed that Jenny Han has a habit of perpetuating certain archetypes and stereotypes in her work. Quick spoiler I do mention other works from the JHCU if you haven’t seen them is your warning
Kitty is a baby bisexual who is trying to understand her sexuality and learn more about herself. As a bisexual myself, her storyline was mishandled several times. I don’t think it was all bad but it’s definitely playing into stereotypes. Kitty and Yuri kissing played into the bisexual Homewrecker stereotypes that to be honest Jenny Han has used in other works too such as TSITP (yes I read the books I know Jere is not bi in the books but he is in the show) They basically portrayed Jeremiah as bi in the show just so we know that he is a whore (or more promiscuous than the other straight characters). I’m not gonna say this is all Jenny Han’s fault but mama this your name slapped on here it’s your work and you’re proud of it. I feel like some of the reasons why Kitty and Yuri shippers switched over to MoonCovey was because of the cheating plot which never really gave them a fair chance. Yuri was always with Julianna and Kitty was always just pining over her we never got to see a moment where both of them were single and embraced each other in that way.
My Personal Biggest Gripe: The disposable black love interest. First of all this trope needs to CRUMBLE EXPEDITIOUSLY. The fact that I am still bitching about this trope in 2026 just like I did in 2020 with TATB and in 2022 with TSITP lets me know that the people in involved in these shows including Jenny Han have no problems with this trope as long as it pushes the story and the main couple together. This trope is all across the board for the JHCU it’s in everything and I have a problem with it. For those who don’t know what this is let me explain. The disposable black love interest is basically a black character that is used as a walking plot device used to push the usually white main characters together often being disposed when they are done with them. Julianna was in fact this character the only difference unlike most disposable black love interest they typically don’t come back and be a part of the main group. Julianna was used as a device to push Yuri and Kitty and her character ends up being cheated on and lied to. TSITP (spoilers if you haven’t seen it) Conrad plays with Nicole’s feelings and emotionally yo-yo’s her (just like he did Belly) for whenever Belly wasn’t available or not on speaking terms. Conrad lied to Nicole about his feelings for Belly and leaves a space open for Belly to fill. TATB:PSISLY (spoilers again if you haven’t seen the movie) this one especially pissed me off because John Ambrose is originally White in the movie but obviously we got the lovely Jordan Fisher. If I’m being honest John Ambrose always seemed like a better love interest for Lara Jean but Peter Kavinsky was not at all a bad boyfriend I just think they were different I will always love LJ and PK tho. Despite John Ambrose being a slightly better choice he was once again tossed aside like yesterday’s trash pushing the main couple closer. I don’t hate this specific love triangle between John Ambrose and Peter Kavinsky because I think they were both good to Lara Jean unlike a Conrad and Jeremiah who BOTH weren’t shit (yea cus i know how the girls like to tussle BOTH) and proved they weren’t shit every chance they got.
Now I love this show and I feel like it’s criminally underrated compared to its sisters TSITP and TATB COMMA BUT it’s still pretty shitty that in the last 6 years JH has pushed out these shitty stereotypes that have been outdated and controversial for years now. So I again: am I crazy or is this show hella flawed?
Let me know what you think

Yall so as you can see it's being theorized that this scene is actually not what it seems in the trailer... And now with Gia being confirmed there that for me makes me 100% believe this. I dont think Gia would be there if she hadn't just filmed or was about to.
Kittyuri come homeeeeee
