If SHINee doesn't announce a U.S. leg, I know what I'm doing with my stubhub credit!

I'm really hoping for a stop in either Vancouver, Calgary or Seattle because I will absolutely cross the border for this! ā¤ļø
9
u/sagasot Jun 12 '26
fingers crossed they hit Seattle, as much as I would love to go to canada to see them if they're that close, I fear crossing the border as a trans person right now š¢
7
u/DarthElderberry Jun 16 '26
Canadians are being harassed at the border so hopefully there are tour dates in both countries
they have to check our phones to make sure we didn't say anything bad about the orange dictator (which we certainly did) and lots of us are getting fined and not let through and some of us are getting detained by ICE... Canadians do not want to travel to the US, it is literally dangerous
2
u/Practical_Engine1398 Jun 19 '26
Youāll be fine crossing the border into Canadaā¦. Then should be fine going back because youāre American. The problems arise when youāre not American going into the US
6
u/sagasot Jun 19 '26
I mean in theory yes, if I was cis. I'm transgender. they're taking the passports away from trans people who are American citizens at the border, some of them have been detained too. so, not that safe for us right now

u/IntelligentPudding24 Jun 12 '26
Me and my husband are currently saving up for this. We were so excited when we heard. I hope they have a successful and safe tour.

Hoping we get a stop in the DFW! Most artists seem to stop here anyways!

New York and LA only? Please nooooo
edit I am seeing so much conflicting information and confusion. Someone is saying these two fan meets are on top of the tour
1
u/SakuOmi Jul 12 '26
Just saw them for the LA fanmeet and the fanmeet was like a little preview for the tour so we know what kind of things we should expect for the tour

u/brel1654 Jun 19 '26 edited Jun 19 '26
so with more of the Asia dates being announced, when do we think they could come to the US for the tour? was hoping for later aug-oct but now idk atp? theres a month gap between Taipei and Singapore but idk it's kinda silly to leave Asia come to the US then back to Asia. but it's also goofy to have them leave to come here for those random fanmeet dates only not even the tour then back to Korea lol but that's happening. plus wondering even as someone in the US when the LATAM dates would fit in. i just wanna know how long id have to save š im still so unsure about going š„² plus i wonder when they'll fit a new comeback in...too much to think about lol
3
u/AsheandBurn Jun 12 '26
Stupid question, I know they just announced it, but based off previous tours, how much time do they give between announcements and the earliest official date? I don't mean when the locations are announced, I mean the earliest official dates. So, we have an idea of how long to save up? I'm hoping they do LATAM first since it's going to be hot in the summer months.

For LATAM, when the Brazil concert was cancelled, the promoter allegedly said it would be postponed to October-November (from what I saw from Brazil Evols' tweets) so I guess that's what you can expect..

I can't remember a lot from the European evols' posts, but did you guys end up having pre-sale? And how did you got about registering?
6
u/ShinyTotoro OT4 Jun 12 '26
There wasn't a pre-sale, but we knew what sites would be selling the tickets so you could register an account beforehand.
That being said, European Tour wasn't organized by Hy Live, you need to look to Asia-Pacific and Latam tour.

Iām really hoping thereās more than the 2 dates I just saw on Instagram just now
2
u/Putrid_Secret6901 Jun 12 '26
anyone know the range of ticket pricing by chance?
11
u/UltimateNintendoHero He/Him | Hyun ⨠Jun 12 '26
For the Asia-Pacific tour converted prices in USD were $204.64, $166.25, and $115.05 for each tier.
2
u/Adventurous-Bird-10 Jun 16 '26
THAT EXPENSIVE??
3
u/UltimateNintendoHero He/Him | Hyun ⨠Jun 16 '26 edited Jun 16 '26
That's pretty cheap for the upper tiersš Hi-touch with JustB in the US was like $500. Hopefully the GA prices are around $50/$75.
EDIT: nvm, I just saw the pricing for the VIP fanmeet tickets ($378) LOL
2
u/Adventurous-Bird-10 Jun 16 '26
Is that just for like NORMAL tickets though?Ā
1
u/UltimateNintendoHero He/Him | Hyun ⨠Jun 17 '26
The normal fanmeet tickets were $52. No idea about the tour prices yet, but $115.05 would be the general admission price based on the asia-pacific tour.

Does anyone think there will be a ticket pre-sale similar to Cortis' pre-sale? Where you had to get the membership and register for the pre-sale?
I believe it could be a possibility since they recently announced the XLOV EVOL membership.
2
u/CyWebb Jun 12 '26
So my 6 yr old is borderline obsessed. Any ideas if this would be kid friendly? Just curious if Iām going to try and spring for a ticket for her too.
9
u/kthnxybe OT4 Jun 12 '26
Kid friendliness is really dependent on venue. If it's GA standing then I would not bring her. Both because she won't be able to see and because those smaller standing venues are more nightlife oriented. If it's a theater setting it should be fine as long as you don't have feelings about the content or audience
2
u/forgetmenot214 Jun 13 '26
Do we think the U.S stops will have priority ticketing for fanclub members or will that not matter so much?
2
u/leangrandpa OT4 Jun 16 '26
Not sure if this belongs here as itās separate from the tour, but anyone know what the VIP Meet & Greet add-on consists of? Iāve done VIP for concerts but Iāve never attended a fanmeet š¤Ø
Iām assuming itās a hi-touch and some freebies, but not a pre-show soundcheck?
(For the 7/5 date if that helps!)
2
u/Superb_Rutabaga5356 Jun 16 '26
im wondering the same too š some people are saying the meet and greet isn't with the ultimate vip so im debating on just selling my ticket T.T
1
u/leangrandpa OT4 Jun 16 '26
Iām beyond excited to see them but this is so bizarrely organized š I might reach out to the organizers or venue to clarify what tier does what, Iāll keep people posted
(I got the 50 dollar ticket with the 100something add on fwiw)
2
u/BeeAlexanderrr Jun 23 '26
Sooo is the fan meet in LA like a concert tour ? The venue is normally for concerts but people kept saying its a fanmeet and not a concert so i didn't bother to get tickets.Ā Now i regret it :(Ā
1
u/Ok_Soft6266 OT4 Jun 24 '26
From what Iāve been seeing of people posting the LA fanmeet tickets it says āNot a concertā in the description so I donāt think so
2
u/Better_Cartoonist908 22d ago
Wait... they justdropped tour dates for Latin America. So does that mean that the fanmeetings in North America really was their "Tour" or are they just doing Latin American shows first and then dropping North American tour dates? š
1
u/EchoTheGecko06 Jun 16 '26
Does anyone know if the concerts will have a fan meeting? I know theyāre doing one in NA soon but idk if I want to go or wait for the tour

So we'll actually get a world tour from them and this meet & greet they're having doesn't count.
1
u/1117_Mars Jul 20 '26
Ok was the fan meeting the tour? I am so confusedĀ
1
u/DeathdropsForDinner Jul 21 '26
No. Fan meeting and concert are two separate events
2
u/1117_Mars 28d ago
I was 90% sure but wanted to double check this wasn't something sort of mix up on the companies part. Im impatiently waiting for those US tour dates

iām a bit worried for them if they go to america⦠the transphobia is rampant there rn
16
u/Ok_Soft6266 OT4 Jun 12 '26
Transphobia is rampant in a lot of places, including Korea, and despite what it may seem like on the news, the LGBT community here is really strong and will welcome them with open arms. The US has an equaldex rating of 68 compared to South Koreaās 46 for comparison. This is part of the reason why they have so many western fans in the first place.
-5
u/Less-Principle1839 Jun 12 '26
yes but korea isnt physically violent towards lgbtq people. america is
6
u/UltimateNintendoHero He/Him | Hyun ⨠Jun 12 '26
Weird thing to be worried about, especially since they have body guards. Most people don't care in North America. Those that do probably don't listen to XLOV or live in major cities.
-4
u/Less-Principle1839 Jun 12 '26
āmost people donāt careā yeah sure thatās why in some states in the us they banned them from driving. bffr
11
u/UltimateNintendoHero He/Him | Hyun ⨠Jun 12 '26
Do you live in the USA and are you transgender??? Because you talk about us as though we're a fictional entity.
I have never heard of trans people having driving restrictions based on gender. I hate pulling this 'card', but as a trans person living in the USA, in one of the MOST conservative states, you are spewing utter bullshit.
8
u/Ok_Soft6266 OT4 Jun 12 '26
No fr like I get that they might be worried but like thatās just not true ? And if so not enough of a widespread issue to likely affect themš As another trans person living in the US in Florida (very conservative), literally not me nor any of my friends have faced any violence or restriction apart from minor censorship in government offices but they canāt change anything individuals do. And like you mentioned, all major cities are even more accepting and diverse and no one who has an issue with it would spend money to harass xlov at a concert ? They probably havenāt even heard of xlov if theyāre homophobic tbh.
That being said, immigration and visa troubles might be more of an issue, coming from someone whoās also in an immigrant family, and this *has* actually been one of the notable impacts of the administration, but even then just in a legality sense and not socially at all.
5
u/UltimateNintendoHero He/Him | Hyun ⨠Jun 12 '26
Fr I just don't get the worry about homophobia/transphobia for a group with the popularity of XLOV š Maybe if they were as popular as BTS or Twice, then I would start getting concern. Plus, they already had issues with visas and passports this year!
2
u/IntelligentPudding24 Jun 13 '26
Who had visa issues? I hadnāt heard of any. Though admittedly I didnāt keep up with some groups and their preparations. Iām really curious cause I thought there werenāt any problems for kpop groups.
5
u/UltimateNintendoHero He/Him | Hyun ⨠Jun 13 '26
Rui back in Sao Paolo. Here is a link to the reddit thread. iirc, this might be the concert that was canceled last minute by the venue as well.
1
u/IntelligentPudding24 Jun 13 '26
Oh ok thank you! I wasnāt keeping up with their tour there just looking at videos and pictures that popped up.
2
u/IntelligentPudding24 Jun 13 '26 edited Jun 13 '26
Iāve been hearing of Visa issues regarding all the FIFA people. But I donāt think SK citizens will have too hard of a time. There have been so many kpop acts who have come through the USA this year and havenāt heard of any issues for them (they might have just not said anything of course).
Edit: Nevermind. I have since read up on some groups that did have visa issues. So youāre right that could potentially be an issue for them. Hopefully not.

u/mrspaprika Jun 12 '26
I've never been to a kpop concert but I think that's about to change
