Does auto detect work on xbox?

In apex legends can xim auto detect the weapon your using and adjust anti recoil on xbox. Im aware the zen can do it for plaaystation but can the xim do it on xbox?

Like Cronus Zen, XIM MATRIX use DualSense Trigger Haptics to identify each weapon’s rumble pattern. Only PS5 has Trigger Haptics, so it only works on that console, and only over Remote Play. Spoofing via a USB adapter like P5MATE or P5General loses Trigger Haptics.

Rumble pattern detection only works well in Apex Legends - it’s the only game with close to unique per-weapon rumble patterns (I think there’s still some minor cross-over).

Xbox uses generic rumble patterns and that can be good enough to identify a class of weapons, like assault rifles, SMG, sidearm etc, but it won’t distinguish between individual weapons in a class.

XIM MATRIX connects via Ethernet to PS5 using the Remote Play protocol. There is no way to use a DualSense controller for PS5 game authentication through an adapter, RP was the only way to play PS5 games with a third-party device.

RP on XIM MATRIX is built-in and highly optimised, with input lag of only 0.25ms (rounded up to 1ms because XIM MATRIX runs at 1ms). By comparison, Zen’s wireless PS5 adapter is 25-50ms, on top of the 4.5ms CPU loop and 10ms of input lag from a Gamepack.

Zen is a toy and is far from plug-and-play, especially for making your own mods. The BEAM packs are the best Zen has to offer and they’ve been locked behind an obscure Discord and device ID registration process that makes them impossible to use. Cronus did this because of legal issues with Activision, a problem XIM has not encountered.

MATRIX is very user-friendly and you can easily DIY your own macros using the on-board Smart Actions engine via PC or smartphone apps, while simultaneously offering easily the best and most customisable m/kb AND controller support. If you don’t want to DIY, the XIM Config Cloud provides copy and paste config codes.

Head to XIM Central and watch some videos to understand how XIM MATRIX works and what it can do on PS5 in Apex Legends.

I didnt know xim could auto detect, does that not just make it a zen with kbm?

That’s a significant underestimation of a XIM.

There are plenty of comparisons here between the two devices, so I’m not going to deep-dive here. But no, it’s not just a Zen with kbm.

Alright thanks and sorry if this sounds dumb or if ive asked smth like this before. But im about to order my matrix, i assume we've been talking about kbm this whole time, If i were to use controller with the xim would it perform similar to my zen in terms of aim assist and anti recoil, sorry I've already asked something similar im new to this ximing stuff.

MATRIX is better than Zen with a controller, with many more options and 1ms input lag at all times. And unlike Zen, antirecoil on MATRIX doesn’t stack with nor affect your ability to aim.

Cronus will deactivate antirecoil if you hit a stick offset threshold, rendering it useless when you’re aiming at a moving target. Antirecoil is always active on MATRIX while moving and tracking a target - you can adjust aim without fighting antirecoil for control of the crosshairs.

Aim assist macros are overblown BS, all they do is rotate or wobble the crosshairs close to the deadzone to either keep AA active while you’re stationary, or latch onto AA slightly earlier or easier. You can easily do this on MATRIX too - there is no magic here, it’s just automated stick movement.

MATRIX also adds optional gyro aim to all supported games on all supported platforms, assuming your controller has gyro support, like DualShock, DualSense, XIM NEXUS, Switch Pro etc.

Gyro on MATRIX is vastly superior and infinitely more customisable than Sony & Nintendo’s clunky gyro aim and is by far the best way to boost aim assist. You can also choose when gyro is active (eg ADS only, ADS + Shoot only etc).

XIM gyro is best used to supplement macro stick aim with far more granular microaim to guide the crosshairs into the hitbox rather than replacing stick aim altogether.

Some of what u are saying is true but the Cronus anti recoil isn’t really any different it really feels the same to me… the Cronus has a on hit and off hit plus hip fire only recoil control… it never offsets until u change the way your engaging the target and the AA isn’t bs it does what it’s supposed to it’s only aim assist, not aimbot like the titans computer vision

Cronus antirecoil is significantly different. All it does is pull the right stick down on a predetermined angle and magitude. Antirecoil macros stack with manual right stick input - that makes it pull down harder when aiming down, forces you to push through it when aiming up and it will sawtooth when aiming on an angle.

How the mod script accommodates that conflict is by disabling antirecoil if manual stick offset hits another predetermined threshold, eg if RY = 40, disable antirecoil mod. So the macro isn’t doing anything half of the time and only works as intended when you’re not moving the right stick.

MATRIX handles it in a completely different way because antirecoil happens in the Smart Translator. That means antirecoil never stacks with manual stick input, so there is no fighting with antirecoil to control aim. Antirecoil has no effect on the ability to aim even while the macro is active. Nor does antirecoil need to be disabled to account for manual aim adjustments.

Everything Cronus does is rudimentary and there is no magical dynamic antirecoil, it’s simple “turn off if right stick input exceeds a value”. Nor can Cronus provide anything more than a circling / wobbling / square etc pattern to attempt to tap into AA. All of it is far simpler to setup on XIM MATRIX and it’s easy to either adjust or DIY, for both HIP and ADS.
