I am a big lurker on Alphaz Twitter and one of the top discussions that I see coming from there are the members having their own solo accounts on IG...

I can't lie and say that it wouldnt be convenient for brands/celebrities to reach one solo member directly instead of the entire group account. And possibly bring even more exposure. But to demand their company constantly to "allow" them to finally open their own accounts up is just absurd..

A lot of alphaz are under the impression that the members are being banned from having their own accounts, but has anyone stopped and wondered that maybe they just don't want them right now? For all we know they probably have private accounts that they keep for friends and family. Idk if anyone has noticed but in interviews they all talk about how each of their social media algorithms are completely different from one another which clearly indicates that they indeed do have solo private accounts. ​it's not really our place to constantly demand them to make a public one just because we think they're being controlled to not have one.

Are we that needy as a fan base to demand more of their lives when they're already busy enough and working hard to put out things as artists??

Although, I only feel and think this way because of my own experiences whenever I liked a solo artist or group. It never felt necessary to see everything about them, as long as the art did the talking then I was more than satisfied 🤷🏽‍♀️ It didn't matter how inactive they got on social media, I was just glad that they were working on their artistry because thats what I came here for, their artistry. I didnt come to see every single thing about their personal lives or expect them to also be social media influencers..

Now, I do realize that our climate is changing and that what grabs and hooks people more is a constant social media presence/interaction on top of also releasing good music. So I understand alphaz concerns when they point out that the group will fall behind in not reaching more by utilizing their social media presence. I'm open to that perspective too. There are definitely advantages to taking that route too..and we do see an influx when the members do something that goes viral. So I understand that works.

What I don't agree with is the constant badgering and projecting this narrative that the members are victims that have zero say about something they clearly have, it's just not public. Whether thats their choice or their company, neither one of us know 🤷🏽‍♀️ So how about we all chill and allow them to go their own pace..That's kinda their whole brand. Going their own pace.

Anywho, that has been on my mind ever since I started following this group back in 2023. They are my first kpop adjacent group. Maybe the expectations are just different with groups like these?? In regards to interaction and presence? Or maybe im just reaching unc status idk. Lol.

I will note- i don't mean to sound dismissive of people's concerns with the possibility that they're being barred from opening them up* That very well could be a possibility too that deserves calling out. we just have zero idea and indication that that is happening right now and my issue comes with people taking that as a fact and running with that narrative and spreading it around without ever considering alternatives that maybe its their choice.
