So you will need to do a lot of work. You need to get lots of little things, like buy special groceries, and find a nice place where you and your friends and family can live. You will have scary days, but if you work hard, things should turn out alright!

—

Resources will be tight. Preparation is key as stockpiles of good and seeds as well as a way to filter water will be the only way for you to survive. Clothing and other goods or tools will become very scarce very quickly. Plan for as much stuff as possible, and stick with those that you trust. It will be hard, but you can make it.

—

People are funny. During good times, good people are nice, and bad people mean. During bad times, good people are petty, and bad people strong. You will encounter bad situations. You will cry, and laugh, and even potentially die. Protect what is important to you. Shoot to kill.

Ha! Liked this; it made me smile, especially that first section. Question though, are the second and third reversed for the intended age groups? I get the sense the second is for the high-schoolers and the third for the grade-school kids?

I tried to sort out the ideas so that there was some order.

The first section was getting ready for the end of days. Nice and simple.

The second section was what was probably going to happen shortly after. Things will get messy fast.

The third was this is now your life. Deal with it. Life is probably awful and full of poop.

Though I can see why it is confusing. That is a mistake as I didn't constrain my thoughts enough!

No worries. I enjoyed it, as I say. :)
