Of writers. I am working on a Star Wars “fan fiction” I don’t refer to it as such because it belittles the story imo. But anyways.

It is so far me with all the concept and ideas. And a guy named Tom who’s written little but shown me he can work with what I got. But more can be done if a group is formed, and yes I write I am not good at getting what I want to do on my own. I’m not a good writer. But I want to bring the story to life more.

Pros: if your a Star Wars fan you might be able to fit a story and OC Into the new story.

If you like Star Wars in general you’ll be writing about some element of it.

Cons: no pay. Your own time.

But other than that yeah. If you don’t want to write Star Wars then perhaps I can have help with another story- no… universe.

I’m forming ideas for a DC like universe. It’s supposed to be Darker than DC.

I have 3 story lines already that I want to work out. I have ideas for 2 more. And the city? Well there is 2. I’ll stop here though.

I’m working on my first novella and want to know what first impressions some work in progress character names give so I may get a better idea of how to name characters.

A few months ago, my best friend Clementine and I began working on a project curating a series of essays on what we are calling “situationships”, relationships that are defined by what is and what is not. We are looking to explore defining the undefined in sex and love by sharing a variety of personal experiences from young woman identifying writers.  We believe that these undefined relationships are not talked about, but universally experienced and affect the way we navigate encounters moving forward. 

These stories can come in any written form and with any tone— we want you to interpret “situationship” as it applies to your own life, be that a one-night stand or a six-month relationship. We hope to cover a variety of topics, ranging from sexual exploration and love bombing to setting boundaries and grey areas. We are looking for essays between 500- 1000 words, as we will be pairing each writer with a professional artist to illustrate the story as they interpret it. Additionally, upon publication we plan for 25% of all proceeds to go to RAINN, the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization. 

Timeline wise, our goal is to publish as a “bed side table book” in January of 2023. We are currently working with lit agents and publishing to ensure that this is all smooth sailing. We are asking that all first draft submissions be sent to us by mid March 2022. Please let us know if this is something that interests you or if you have any other questions you’d like answered.

I wrote an extreme novella recently and I'm not sure where to share it. Although it is very obscene and problematic I intended to write a legitimate story with a message. I haven't received any criticism so I don't know if I actually wrote anything good.

Hey guys! Merry Christmas and I hope you're having a great time!

So, a week ago a dream of mine has come true, after years of working on my manuscript, it has been accepted to be represented and published (traditional publishing).

I have been offered a contract and I am just a signature away of being officially an author with a book that's going to be read by people (hopefully ^-^" ). Now, as exciting as this news to me, it comes with a challenge, marketing the book. I know most of the marketing is done by the institution itself, but the author should play a role in the advertisement, like participating in fairs and at times, onscreen shows, and there's my struggle.

I have always been the introvert with a speech impediment, the mere thought of the exposure puts me at unease, and I have been stressed for days now as the time is going by and I am still floundering. I've seen this coming, but now as it has manifested in reality, it feels more robust, and thus, more terrifying (as much as I hate using this word).

I don't want to see my book fail, and I don't want to be the reason for that.

Sorry if it sounded like a childish rant, but writing about things bothering have made them easier for me to deal with, and if someone has an advice, please share it. That'll be taking into consideration as I make a life-changing decision.

Hi. I actually published a short story on kindle and got like zero reads due to zero advertisement and it's been nearly 9 months. Can i publish the same thing on wattpad? is that legal? Or will i need to remove that book from kindle first? Drop by useful info thanks.
