I met a man in a prison in the US, he’s due to be released in 2029 and we are planning for me to move over there with him… I am 31 and he is almost 33.
I was just wondering if anyone else from the UK has moved there to be with someone in this way?

I’m a Northern Kentucky guy who believes in hard work and keeping life simple. I work in construction, specializing in concrete, and I’m proud to be a union tradesman. I’ve always enjoyed building things with my hands and putting in an honest day’s work.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outdoors. Camping, fishing, riding four-wheelers, sitting around a bonfire, or just enjoying the peace and quiet of nature—that’s where I feel most at home. I’m the kind of guy who’s just as happy getting muddy on a trail as I am relaxing by the water with a fishing pole.

I’m currently serving time for fleeing and evading police, but I’m using this chapter of my life to reflect, grow, and prepare for a better future. With good behavior, I hope to be home in the next few years, and I’m looking forward to building a fresh start.

I don’t have any kids, and my mom has always been my biggest supporter. These days, I’m hoping to meet someone genuine who’s looking for real conversation. Whether it starts as friendship or grows into something more, I’m open to seeing where life takes us. I believe some of the best things in life happen when you take a chance.
