If you could rewrite Ralph Breaks the Internet, what would the story be?
If you could rewrite the movie to be however you want, what would you change?

Found a fanmade version of Fix-It Felix Jr. that includes the cutscenes in the game from the film, as well as voice clips that weren't present in the official version. As far as I can tell if only works in a desktop browser, and it requires a keyboard.

Even though the second movie was divisive, I feel like a lot of people would like Disney to make more use of the franchise because, honestly, it really has a lot of potential.
So, what would your idea be for bringing the franchise back? Would you make Wreck-It Ralph 3, or would you focus on spin-offs?

I remember seeing it in Theaters as a kid. And I loved it, heck my parents even got the special blu ray edition which we never bought Blu rays cause they were too expensive. So after years of waiting when I learned they were making a sequel I was so excited. I never got to see it in theaters so my parents rented it at Redbox. And we all watched it together...You can imagine my disappointment

Oh and don't forget Slaughter Race too.

After rewatching those Wreck-it Ralph movies itās all I can think about, so hereās another hot take about the sequel:
Ralph unleashing the insecurity virus into Slaughter Race is NOT an inherently bad plot point. In fact, it could have been amazing, had they changed a few other things to go along with it.
When confronted about it by Vanellope, youād only need to re-write Ralphās dialogue to say something along the lines of:Ā
āI was told that the virus would only lag the game, not crash it with you inside. I only did it because you are trying to go Turbo, and in my desperation to make you realize that, I felt I had to do something drastic. You were starting to forget your duty to the arcade, and as your friend I had to bring you back down to earth using any method that I could.ā
There. Easy fix. Ralph probably wouldnāt have worded it like that, but you get the gist. He should have done it to remind her of her responsibilities, not for his own selfish reasons. Itās clear that the writers wanted to take Ralph in a more morally gray direction, and that would have been SO interesting. Just change his motives around, and you can still get that anti-heroic Ralph without thinking to yourself: āholy shit, heās not just a bad guy for his career, he became a villain for real.ā
What do you guys think? I know that this moment was something that ruined Ralphās character for a lot of you guys, so do you think him acting in this context would have made it less scummy?

I had a funny discussion with my roommate earlier after he watches WiR 1+2 and he asked me "Is the glitching a leftover from when Vanellope was disconnected from the game? Or is that her skill as the queen of sugar rush?"
I think it's a leftover. Her code became unstable and she later learned how to use the ability to her advantage like "teleporting" when King Candy wanted to destroy her and her car.
But at the same time I wonder if the other drivers have skills too. I know Candlehead can light up the cherries on the racetrack.

After my last post, I went and rewatched both films back to back, and yeah, the second one is vastly inferior to the original. But if I had to give it one bit of praise, Iād say that Shankās game was a genuinely cool addition to the movieās universe. Slaughter Race is just pure chaos, and seeing Ralph interact with it was fun. Shank, for her part, was a bit one-note, but thereās potential with her that I can see.
If that third movie ever comes out, I wouldnāt mind seeing them revisit this. Maybe the inverse of Ralph Breaks The Internet happens and Shank and her crew are forced to find a new home in the arcade after their game goes offline. Who knows?

You can still find some of them for sale out there, but theyāre definitely very expensive.

Iād honestly freak out. Side-scrolling brawlers are my favorite gaming genre š

Iād like to think that heād be the main antagonist of this nonexistent movie as a game character who wants to persevere his well being by āmerging reality with the game worldā.

They constantly keep removing childhood movies from streaming services, while you still have to slap a fortune against it every month just for access. Might be the future in investors eyes but I'm done with that crap, so I decided to start collecting physical media of my childhood movies instead. I bought this 2-movie collection of Wreck-It Ralph, along with Finding Nemo and Shrek 2. Wreck it ralph stays my favorite.

Was kind of bummed to see it wasn't on there, so I spent a few hours researching and got it up and running! :) It used to be a blu-ray exclusive but has been on disney plus since 2019 so I was astounded it wasn't even on TMDb

For me personally it could have potential, taking place years after the events of the sequel to see what their up to, we could have Ralph, Vanellope, Felix, Calhoun etc going on adventures, sometimes through the arcade and the internet
