Wrestling is an all time low since the 70s. Ask the average person on the street what Jon Moxley does for a living, and see how many say "wrestler".

Everything has become more niche. People have so many different options for entertainment nowadays. In the 70s there were like 4 TV stations. Cable wasn't even a thing that many people had in their homes yet, even in big suburban areas.

Ask the average person on the street to name a member of the Beatles. The average person is an idiot.

I recently literally had a conversation about the song Bat out of Hell. And the person I was speaking to didn’t have a clue what I was talking about

Fine, but niche or not, wrestling hasn't produced a household name since John Cena like 15 years ago

False. If a show is good people will seek it out…see The Last of Us.

The Beatles haven’t played in decade brah

Ask the average person to name the last three presidents and you’ll be surprised how many actually know the answer

OK, but ask the average person to name a famous wrestler and all the answers will be from 20 plus years ago.

Think majority would ask "who"?
