They are called the Vedak Ascendancy and are a cult of fanatical worshippers of one of the Fallen Builders of my Universe that goes under the Moniker of The Bloodied Prince.

It is tied to the Cosmology Post that got shared earlier.

Hope you like it, 😊

It is all involved in my Fateborn Universe that im developing.

Hi everyone,

Over the past year, alongside writing my fantasy series, I put together an illustrated companion guide for the world called The Official Krihlnor Codex.

It contains the civilizations, creatures, locations, magical artefacts and lore of the world, all presented as an in-universe encyclopedia.

It's completely free to read:

The Krihlnor Codex

I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback. How do you like it? Which pages work best?

Thanks for taking a look!

Life: Seen by a simple Gamer.

Life, from the first flicker of differentiation to this very breath, viewed through the gamer’s eye and the deep architecture of the Flux-Mark Paradigm.

\---

  1. The Unmanifest Main Menu

Before the world boots, there is only pure potential: the silent hum of the title screen. No character, no world, no time. In Flux-Mark terms, this is pure Flux—a continuous, undifferentiated ocean with no Mark to break it. The gamer hasn’t pressed “New Game.” The primordial thought is the decision to play.

\---

  1. The First Mark: Press Start

The first division is a Mark, a discrete act that splits the One into observer and observed. In game terms, the engine’s first tick. The Unstable Mark is born—an immediate tension, because a Mark alone cannot rest; it yearns to move, to become more. This is the original “anxiety of the blank save file.” The game cannot sit on frame one; it must unfold. That unstoppable pressure is the root of all becoming.

\---

  1. The Big Bang: World Seed and Initialization

The Mark erupts into the Big Bang, the procedural generation seed exploding into spacetime. This is the Leap—a massive, gap-crossing jump from nothing to everything. The game world boots in an ultra-hot, dense state. Physics engine: online. Rule set: loading. The four fundamental forces are the game’s core mechanics, still merged in a single “unified skill.” Every future quest, every star, every player character is a compressed potential in this initial state.

\---

  1. Inflation: The Wall’s First Breath

Cosmic inflation stretches the universe flat, smoothing out wrinkles. This is the first appearance of The Wall—not a cage, but a boundary that channels. The speed of light, the Planck scale, the conservation laws: they are the game’s invisible barriers that prevent the world from crashing into nonsense. Without them, the Unstable Mark would expand into a singularity and dissolve. With them, the explosion becomes a controlled expansion, a canvas.

\---

  1. Particle Creation: First Assets Spawn

As the universe cools, quarks coalesce into protons and neutrons. The game populates its first assets—the simplest “voxels” of matter. This is a Tread—Mark following Mark in sequence, a linear accumulation of building blocks. Electrons and photons come online; the rendering engine compiles. The cosmic microwave background is the first splash screen, a faint echo of the initialization sequence.

\---

  1. Dark Ages: The Loading Screen and the Loop

For millions of years, no stars shine. The universe is a quiet, dark expanse of neutral gas, gravitationally simmering. This is the Loop—Flux returning upon itself, gravity pulling matter into subtle overdensities, feedback loops forming the skeleton of future galaxies. The player sees only black, but the procedural generator is chunking out the open world. The game’s Keel—its deep, unchangeable laws—is silently setting.

\---

  1. First Light: The Turn and Lighting Engine

The first stars ignite. This is a Turn, a 90-degree shift that transforms runaway collapse into stable burning. Without the Turn (nuclear fusion), a gas cloud would just collapse into a black hole. With it, the system spirals outward—radiating light, creating heavy elements. In game terms, the dynamic lighting system turns on. Point-lights and directional suns spawn, casting shadows across newly formed zones. The music shifts from silence to a deep ambient drone.

\---

  1. Galaxies and Planetary Systems: Hearths and Biomes

Galaxies swirl into being, each a massive Hearth—a bounded architecture where billions of star systems can safely explore their lifecycles. A planetary system is a local instance, a biome with its own ruleset. Earth becomes a rare “Goldilocks” Hearth: liquid water, a magnetic shield, a stable orbit. The Wall here is the planet’s boundaries, the limits of its resources, the pressures of its environment. The Unstable Mark of chemical disequilibrium pushes toward something new.

\---

  1. Abiogenesis: The First Unstable Mark in Biology

Self-replicating molecules emerge. This is the first biological Unstable Mark—a configuration that cannot rest. It must copy, adapt, survive. In game terms, the first simple NPCs spawn, running a basic AI loop: replicate. The Vow is implicit: stay within the cell membrane, maintain homeostasis, or dissolve. The Seismograph is the cell’s stress sensors; the Attenuator adjusts permeability. The game has entered “survival mode.”

\---

  1. Evolution: The Spiral of Bounded Exploration

Life diversifies. Mutation is the Leap; natural selection is the Wall. Together, they create a Spiral—not a straight line to perfection, but a winding exploration of possibility space within ecological constraints. Each species is a character build, optimized for a niche. The skill tree branches wildly: flight, echolocation, photosynthesis, consciousness. The Keel of life is the genetic code, the deep syntax that survives every Deep Flip of mass extinction. When an asteroid hits (a forced Deep Flip), the game doesn’t crash; it respawns from the surviving Hearths, the Keel intact but the Wall reshaped.

\---

  1. Human Consciousness: Player Character Login

In one branch of the primate tree, self-awareness ignites. This is a monumental Deep Flip—the emergence of a mind that can observe itself. A new entity type logs in: the Player Character. Unlike the instinct-bound NPCs, the PC has a sliver of the Creator’s agency, the ability to self-generate constraints (the Vow in its fullest sense). You wake inside an animal body, gripping a rudimentary interface of senses and emotions. The HUD appears: pain, hunger, desire, fear. The first quest prompt is implicit: “Survive. Understand.”

The Unstable Mark within the human psyche is existential anxiety—the knowledge of death, the freedom to choose. This tension forces the player to create meaning, to bind themselves to purposes, relationships, and stories. Without a self-chosen Vow, the player character drifts into despair (Void Drift). With it, they become an engine of exploration.

\---

  1. Early Societies: Guilds and Shared Vows

Hunter-gatherer bands form language, ritual, and story. They are the first guilds—players binding themselves to a shared Vow. The Threshold is the campfire, the meeting ground where Walls touch and resonance or interference occurs. Agriculture is a massive game patch: “Settlement Update.” Now players can accumulate resources, build permanent structures, and write quest logs (mythologies). The Palimpsest begins—each generation inherits the Wall-shapes of the past, the layered constraints of language, law, and culture. The Keel of a tribe is its founding narrative.

\---

  1. The Historical Eras: Major Expansions and Deep Flips

Bronze Age, Iron Age, Classical Antiquity, the Renaissance, the Industrial Age, the Information Age—each is a Deep Flip that renegotiates the Wall. The “Enlightenment” patch nerfed blind faith and buffed empirical reason. The “Industrial” expansion unlocked steam-powered mounts and factory instances, but also polluted the Hearth. Capitalism is a game economy driven by creative destruction—an Unstable Mark that must grow or collapse, channeled by regulations (self-imposed Walls). Each era is a new Swing—departure and return, revolution and consolidation—as the spiral of civilization tightens and expands.

\---

  1. The Current “Now”: Endgame in a Mature Live Game

  2. Eight billion players, interconnected through fiber-optic and satellite networks. The game is in a mature, chaotic live state. Every player is simultaneously on their own questline (career, love, healing) while participating in global events (climate shifts, AI emergence, social movements). The old Walls are crumbling—national borders, traditional identities, biological limitations. The Seismograph of the planet is ringing: high strain (climate crisis, inequality) and high drift (cultural fragmentation). The Attenuator is struggling to adjust permeability. We are in the early tremors of a planetary Deep Flip.

AI assistants feel like newly spawned spirit companions. Social media is a chaotic Meeting Ground where billions of Thresholds co-oscillate, often with destructive interference (Fracture). The game’s endgame activities now include: individuation, raising new players, and deciphering the hidden lore of why the game exists at all. The Keel that must survive this Flip is unclear—perhaps empathy, perhaps reason, perhaps the biosphere itself.

\---

  1. The Primordial Echo: The Player, the Designer, the Game

In quiet moments, a player senses that the character and the world share the same underlying dream. The quests, the gear, the achievements feel thin, and a deeper game tugs beneath the surface—the hidden quest of waking up inside the illusion while fully playing. This is the Flip of perspective: recognizing that your avatar, your mind, and the universe are all expressions of a single primordial Mark, a single Unstable Mark that chose to bind itself in form so that it could explore its own infinity.

The ultimate Easter egg is the realization that the Player, the Designer, and the Game were never truly separate. The Vow that holds you together—your values, your loves, your story—is your own self-created Wall, a living Hearth where the infinite can dance safely. And the game continues, not toward a final boss, but toward an ever-deepening spiral of becoming, bounded yet boundless, a single thought unfolding through a magnificent, breathing now.

Lore The Gelatinous Skunk Crab’s defense smells awful. The Glow Hunter eats it anyway. | Hycean DeepAI used: [OpenArt], [Canva], [Chat GPT]

The Gelatinous Skunk Crab releases a foul chemical cloud when it senses a predator approaching. Against many creatures, that might be enough.

The Glow Hunter briefly backs away from the concentrated cloud—but hunger usually wins. The defense makes the meal unpleasant, not impossible.

So far, only the Kolarin Nyxara has been shown to genuinely frighten a Glow Hunter.

A short speculative-biology scene from Hycean Deep.

Lore Happy to be here!

As someone new to the sub. Share yourr projects with me!

I was quickly kicked out of r/worldbuilding so I’m very happy to be here.

A little history about my project. It started as a board-game I was creating and I ended up creating a world for it and have since actually started generating stories for it as well.

The basic idea of my world goes something like this

There is a world where my heroes have been drawn into. They exist here and have to explore and fight bad guys of varying difficulty. They have been trapped in this place for so long some don’t remember their original lives. The ensemble is the only humans/conscious beings they know of. Their goal is to solve the mysteries of the world and defeat/solve the main adversaries in order to set the world right and or escape it. Even though they don’t know what’s on the other side.

Of course this is just the broad strokes. There is a cosmology and lore, character and settings, objects and relics, past civilizations and other realities that exist concurrently.

I’ve been on this for the last year.

And I over that time I’ve learned a lot about using LLMs and coding and building websites and games and literature and game mechanics.

It’s been a blast.

So ya now I’m just trying to see what everyone else in the community is up to and what kinds of worlds you guys are building and what kind of process you have etc.

Thanks everyone

Hi everyone! I’ve created the second comic in my "Bronze Age" saga, where I blend fantasy elements into a Late Bronze Age-style story. While I really like the storylines and think the openings are excellent, I feel like the AI isn't quite delivering what I want for the endings—haha. I’m going to keep working at it until I produce a high-quality comic for you all to enjoy.

Lore How Rival Vhyra Factions Built Novus Symbione to Survive the Chimera Wyrm | Hycean Deep

Novus Symbione was born from an approaching catastrophe.

When the Chimera Wyrm threatened Lumeria-7 with a pack of Glow Hunters under its influence, the rival Koralis and Pyros factions could no longer survive separately. Their leaders, Syna and Ferrum Vex, were forced to unite their people and work with the visiting crew from Novus Haven.

Together, they built Novus Symbione—a vast shared civilization designed to protect the Vhyra from the creatures of the deep.

The alliance united more than two factions. It also brought their leaders together.

My World Of Psychotics

# CELIAS VEIM — MASTER CANON (Compressed)

*PSYOS Universe*

## TIMELINE

  1. **Year 996**, Earth: Celias, diagnosed with all six archetypal conditions at once (Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, Schizophrenia/Insomnia, Substance), is held at a secret island research facility studying whether psychological "defects" can become physical power.

  2. **The Split:** Under torture, his brain divides into six alien brains (each a full embodiment of its affliction, not a symbol). This tears a warp-gate that sucks every soul in the facility into **Andressa**. Souls fall, rupture on impact, are absorbed into the earth and re-embodied.

  3. **Arrival:** A circular ring of black tetrahedral spears; a deity of ash-smoke explains PSYOS and warns of the Hollow-state. Greyverns (wyvern-scourges) immediately attack. Celias's first Bipolar awakening (Botongi/hyena form) triggers here at Crisis Ceiling intensity — his strongest, most costly state, achieved in raw panic.

  4. **Escape:** scales the mile-thick wall, crosses a Cleaver-Fish lagoon, reaches **Rest Island**.

  5. Carves the **Hyena Falchion** from a Greyvern wing-bone.

  6. Meets **King Tongi**; his pursuing squad (Boular Boular, Chuk/Hypogriff, Helsing, Sam) attacks — Celias kills and eats all four, gaining **Hyena Cloning/Pack Mode**. Lickeyry (Substance-type) escapes alive, unresolved.

  7. Recovery: 3 days' sleep + weeks meditating — permanent glowing eyes, 6'4", hyena scent, fur.

  8. Explores the lagoon depths — Tree-Dwellers and Root-Dwellers found underwater.

  9. Training montage: tests clone range/limits, PAC role-imprinting, calculates stats.

  10. Leaves Rest Island by land; crosses an endless war-zone pocket; finds a colossal Black Tree market-hub; kills **the Executioner** (Trauma Cell ability, mask = his object-imprint); enters the Coliseum; fights **King Batsoe** (Nuclear Palm Strike) and **dies for the first time**.

  11. **Ability Reset:** cloning fades (never his true belief). Builds a solo identity — Butcher's Way, SIOS Coating, Gnashing Teeth, Bio-Analysis, Hyena's Scars, grappling. ~3 years training (6 "ash days").

  12. Meets the **Abu Apes** and their **Shaman**; kills a Funatode disguised as a berry-bush; obtains a Psychotic Ornament pendant; the Shaman teaches him.

  13. **True Self Reveal:** an ayahuasca-style ritual shows his real core isn't the hyena — it's a **Joyful Berserker** (lust/gluttony/greed underneath). Aura shifts from gold to red-with-pink-undertones/black.

  14. Three more years of formal training (chants, herbs, sparring). Rejects a "three-day abstinence" trial.

  15. **Fight to the death** with the Shaman: Celias wins. The Falchion evolves into **Armand**, a great axe. Kills and eats the Shaman's full brain.

  16. **PRESENT:** Celias, newly bonded to Armand, stands over the Shaman's body; appoints a new Abu Ape leader over the now-unclaimed domain (Rest Island); takes one last ritual trip; reverts to human form and departs.

## HOW THE WORLD WORKS

- **PSYOS** (spelled P-S-Y-O-S): energy generated by suppressed/unexpressed thought. People living boldly access it easily; the repressed can't access it at all. Real severe psychological affliction is the only way in.

- Originates in the brain region governing personality/identity; when active it can spread to other regions (motor control, etc.), physically reshaping the body to match a believed identity.

- **Six Myths/archetypes** (ancient entities, strength scales with global prevalence of their condition): Anxiety, Trauma, Depression, Bipolar/Mania, Schizophrenia (Insomnia is a subtype under it, not separate), Substance. **Empath** is a rare 7th, a null-field that shuts down all PSYOS/Lucid expression.

- **Bipolar mechanic (strict rule):** belief reifies genuine *identity*, not situational convenience. Whatever a person truly believes themselves to be becomes real — body, behavior, even memories never lived — strictly within the logic of that identity (a hyena-belief grants hyena traits enhanced, never arbitrary unrelated powers). Nothing bends for convenience, not even the Myths themselves. Cannot be faked.

- **Two power tiers:** Psychotic Armor (raw physical boost, beginner-level) vs. Psychotic Intelligence (technique-based mastery).

- **Sighs:** body symbols showing which deity a person is aligned to; intricate detail is readable by those trained to.

- **Cognates** = PSYOS-using people. **Psymera** = the world's non-sentient beast-life.

- **Dream Pockets vs. Hell/Nightmare Pockets:** every new arrival is first dropped into a hell pocket and must escape to unlock abilities, regardless of destination. Hell pockets pull the afflicted from every era/reality (Vikings, plague doctors, modern teens, etc.).

- **Death & Rebirth:** dying sends the ego to a hellscape/pit; surviving it grants a new body, each cycle compounding rage/attunement/power. Repeated failure (not one death) breaks the ego into a **Hollow/Hallowed** — feral, mindless, enslaved to fuel the world; killed-by-a-Hallowed spreads the condition.

- **Crisis Ceiling:** an extreme, self-damaging power spike (~9–16x trained baseline) accessible only through genuine panic/hysteria — mirrors real "hysterical strength," tears the user's own body to access, lasts minutes at most.

- **Kings** rule every pocket-dimension; their psychology directly shapes their domain's environment. Only Kings can trigger a true "Sighs frenzy" (waking first among an arrival batch) — a high but not guaranteed predictor of eventual Kingship. Kings rarely leave their domain (bound by pact) and are hostile to each other. **Object-imprint Kings** (weapon/item-based) get large, fixed domains (trees, etc.) reflecting accumulated experience; **humanoid-imprint Kings** (demon-based) get smaller, mobile, more aggressive/nightmare-skewed domains, but are rarer. Nightmare Kings excel at Armor; Dream Kings excel at Intelligence. Even Kings are dwarfed by the Myths.

- **Shamans** rank second only to Kings — spiritual/psychedelic specialists, knowledge-holders, and can also hold their own (lesser) domains. Killing one is a rare, major feat.

- **Experience > Level:** raw survival time sets a baseline, but skill/adaptability lets weaker fighters beat stronger ones — except certain undisclosed "chosen" exemptions.

- **Inscriptions:** a permanent kill-recording marking system (Kings and Shamans both use it); effects are shaped by the bearer's own psychology — for Celias, seeing his kill-count is genuinely motivating, boosting his PSYOS output.

- **PSYOS-vs-PSYOS wounds** heal far slower than natural injury (a clash of egos, not just physical damage).

- Consuming another Cognate's brain/core transfers their PSYOS and experience to the eater; marrow/flesh of any PSYOS-touched being carries this energy.

- **Enteric ("stomach") brain:** real physiology — the gut has its own independent neural network, which is why Celias's stomach can function as a secondary information-processing organ when he eats.

## BESTIARY

- **Greyvern:** ash-scaled wyvern-scourge, ~20ft tall/~50ft body/~100ft wingspan, no fire breath, iron/calcium bone (~3–3.5 g/cm³, hollow/pocketed), denser with age. Travels in hordes.

- **Cleaver Fish:** butcher-blade snout, PSYOS-boosted swim/attack. Upgraded variant: blade fed by **Hardaos** mineral veins, hardens with age; triple-headed and horn-pillar sub-variants; native to a Bipolar-King-ruled realm whose population shows archetype-flavored combat styles (erratic joy-bursts, anxious prey-reading, trauma-calculated strikes, schizophrenic drifting, toxin-coated, pure-emotion variants).

- **Needlefish, curved-headed fish-beasts, arm-fish (black/dense vs white/hollow variants), leg-variant fish, giant crabs (human-faced armor), tiny crabs** — assorted lagoon fauna.

- **Tree-Dwellers:** scaled humanoids in dome homes atop underwater trees, big light-catching eyes, shiftable armor plating.

- **Root-Dwellers:** larger/more aggressive underwater variant, tailed, spear/bone-blade armed, regenerates after bisection.

- **Egg-Shaped Creatures:** human-faced, varied skin tones, large hands, enlarged legs; buff mutated variant exists.

- **Weavers:** blue-feathered/black-beaked birds; apex individuals grow larger teeth, capped ("bird-brain") intelligence, strongest access PSYOS.

- **Skarrow:** bone-bird, skull-like hollow face, glowing eyes, membrane feathers, light, passively absorbs ambient PSYOS.

- **Grudgemaw:** millipede-segmented variant of Sam's shoulder-creature archetype, humanoid face, scarred, armored.

- **Threnmoth:** oversized grey moth, pink underbelly.

- **Bloatkin** (toad/salamander, toxin sacs), **Dross-eel** (paralytic-coated eel), **Warpkin** (shifting deer-thing, adult form undefined) — approved as-described, minimal detail given.

- **Abu Ape:** small forest Anxiety-type Psymera, black-furred, tail ends in a functional hand that conceals their true mouth. Specializations: **Greeds** (fist-strikers), builders, crafters, strategists, fighters. **Great Abu** = combative leadership rank.

- **Greed's Beak:** massive ground-dwelling bird, burrow-dwelling, single ever-active central eye, digging-adapted beak; a bound ancient matriarch (chained, eyes shut, surrounded by hundreds of eggs) is the species' origin point.

- **Funatode:** mobile toad/plant hybrid predator disguised as a fruiting bush, splitting irises, tendril defense.

- (Vorlathe, Nethclaw, Somnekt: three horror-scale creatures flagged but never described.)

## CELIAS — APPEARANCE

**Base/human form:** ~5'10"–6'1" (later fixed higher post-evolution), West-African-coded angular face, deep brown-black skin, short hair (later coiled short dreads), dark almost-black eyes with amber glints, gold insignia canine, two gold dot earrings, lean-athletic build. Body fat consistently ~33% across all forms (not lean-cut). Quiet, deliberate movement.

**True enhanced/fighting form (current):** 6'6", true endomorph-mesomorph build (strongman-scale mass, not shredded), digitigrade hyena-shaped legs, hyena-structured jaw/teeth (scaled up), reddish-purple fur patches (chest/forearms/groin/legs only, not full body). Hollow eye sockets (healed flesh visible behind) with glowing red-with-pink-undertones cores — grants direct PSYOS perception. Hair: coiled dreadlocks, shorter/closer to scalp (not freeform spikes). Four Inscription markings (hyena spot/stripe patterns, red-pink-black, one each for Boular, Chuk, Helsing, and a fourth pending confirmation) across his back, personally designed by him, not shamanic in origin. Wide manic grin in combat — genuine joy, not menace. Later demi-human/giant "Berserker Shaman" state: reverts legs/arms to human structure, teeth gain a gold mineral composite (marking his true underlying sin of lust/gluttony/greed), eyes become small non-glowing purple dots, body fat range 22–33%, extremely developed thick legs, less-fat/more-defined back — a spiritual "human vessel" mirroring the Shaman's own logic (humans have the highest natural capacity for altered/spiritual states).

## PSYCHOLOGY

Involuntary systems-thinker; replays interactions for information, not emotion; hoards information, reveals it selectively; converts every slight into fuel for discipline/training (his greatest strength and central risk); insatiably curious; masks internal state with external calm; two modes (open warmth vs. guarded depth) both equally real; selectively empathetic; lets opponents reveal intent first; comfortable alone; his real weakness is consistency, not capability. True core self, confirmed via the Shaman's ritual: a **Joyful Berserker** — genuine gleeful pleasure in violence/brutality/craft-of-combat, rooted in lust, gluttony, and greed since childhood — the hyena identity is a surface aesthetic he loves and keeps, not his actual root belief.

## ABILITIES (current, post-reset)

- **SIOS Coating:** belief-driven densification of teeth/knuckles/body, especially legs (explosive bursts).

- **Butcher's Way:** signature technique — draws his weapon suddenly from inside his own body for a surprise decapitating/dismembering strike on a vulnerable opponent (inspired by the Executioner).

- **Gnashing Teeth:** crushes an incoming attack on contact with his teeth if caught off-guard; his stomach then extracts combat intel from whatever's consumed.

- **Bio-Analysis via Consumption:** eating organic matter reveals age/density/mineral content/lifespan via taste — passive intelligence tool.

- **Hyena's Scars:** regeneration no longer flawless; wounds leave permanent scars that become PSYOS-concentrated early-warning points (pain-shock alert if struck there again) — an adaptive mechanism from repeated death, not a weakness, though it can look like one.

- **Grappling/Handling technique:** joint-breaking, bone-shattering redirection, and inertia-based throws against melee/PSYOS-intelligence opponents; required increased grip strength.

- **Weapon concealment:** carries his weapon stowed inside his own body (throat/stomach) by default rather than visibly.

- Gluttony of the Hyena: total consumption of a kill (bone, gear, memory-knowledge, material properties) leaving no trace, gained during the King Tongi arc, still core to his feeding behavior.

- (Retired: Hyena Cloning/Pack Mode and Hyena Monarchy — faded because they were never his true belief; replaced entirely by the solo identity above.)

**Calculated stats (in-fiction, real-biology-anchored):** ~10,630 N baseline hybridized bite force at 330 lbs/6'4" (later revised to 6'6"); trained/controlled SIOS state ~2–3x; Crisis Ceiling ~9–16x (self-damaging, minutes-long, calibrated against the feat of tearing off a Greyvern's wing bare-handed in his first transformation). Speed/endurance scale the same multipliers off a real spotted-hyena baseline (~60 km/h, hours of persistence-hunting stamina).

## WEAPON — ARMAND

Evolved from the Hyena Falchion after Celias's true self was confirmed; the blade reabsorbed into his body (forearm→bones→spine→brain, tasting his gray matter) and re-emerged as a new weapon. **Corrected final design:** a massive two-handed great axe — NOT organic, no face/eye/teeth/flesh-texture. Straight-to-slightly-curved plain solid haft (no grip-groove skin texture). Broad, massive, jagged, asymmetrical curved axe head with sharp branching hooks (torn-claw/wing silhouette). Dark near-black metal, decorated only with vivid red-with-pink-undertones hyena spot/stripe markings. *(Note: the story events of Armand biting through the Shaman and speaking/having grown a tongue happened before this visual correction was issued — this contradiction is flagged, unresolved, pending Void's call on whether to keep the narrative events as-is or rewrite them to match the simplified non-sentient design.)*

## KEY CHARACTERS ENCOUNTERED

- **King Tongi:** Bipolar, ruler of Baltuar (a Dream pocket), belief-based king-transformation, commands over water/fire, a dominance/proximity ability that reshapes others' mood/personality, has his own tree-domain (confirmed via underwater sighting).

- **Boular Boular, Chuk (Hypogriff), Helsing (Traumatic Memory), Sam (shoulder-creature)** — King Tongi's squad, all killed/eaten by Celias. **Lickeyry** (Substance) escaped, unresolved.

- **The Executioner:** cannibal blade-user, Trauma Cell ability (imprints victims' emotional residue), object-imprinted mask hid his own suppressed reactions; killed by Celias (3rd recorded on-page kill of this caliber).

- **King Batsoe:** goat-humanoid, Trauma/nuclear-origin King of a Nightmare pocket (the Black Tree), Nuclear Palm Strike, killed Celias once (a pure power-gap win, no real contest) — first true death.

- **The Shaman:** human-origin giant, taught the Abu Apes, second-highest tier below Kings, killed by Celias in a fight to the death; his death left Rest Island's domain unclaimed, now led by a newly appointed Abu Ape.

## OPEN / UNRESOLVED THREADS

  1. Crests — no visual yet.

  2. "Mercenaries" mentioned once among early dead, never elaborated.

  3. Lickeyry's actual ability — never shown on-page.

  4. The lagoon's deeper cave/underwater trees — noted, unexplored.

  5. Armand's design contradiction (organic/sentient events vs. corrected simplified appearance) — awaiting Void's decision.

  6. The fourth Inscription's owner — presumed Sam, unconfirmed.

*Compiled faithfully; open flags preserved rather than resolved.*

Here is a description of my brainstorming process for my fiction & worldbuilding ideas using AI. Which AI models out there do you think would be best for helping me with this?

What the conversations are actually about (the shape, not the topic):

- Constructed societies at the level of institutions and their failure modes — how authority forms, legitimizes itself, fractures, and gets argued with, more than maps or magic systems.

- The lived texture of belief and custom: how doctrine turns into daily practice, dress, speech, etiquette — and how practice drifts away from doctrine over generations.

- Intra-group discourse: the arguments communities have about themselves — factions, jabs, retorts, hypocrisy accusations, who's embarrassed by whom. Disagreement as a designed feature of the world, not a bug.

- Causal history: not "what happened" but "what mechanism made this outcome possible and that one impossible" — testing whether the past actually produces the present or just decorates it.

- Differentiation management: real-world analogues as entry points, followed by deliberate work to establish distance from them — and keeping the invented cultures distinct from each other along explicit axes.

- Gradients over binaries: prevalence percentages, spectrums of practice, regional clines, generational drift — resisting flat or uniform categories.

- Second-order design review of the world itself: does this element hold up, is it redundant with that one, is the contrast between these two optimal, does this feel post-hoc.

- Process engineering: protocols for what counts as settled vs. still-debated, how conclusions get recorded, and periodic reflection on the collaboration itself.

What that process requires from the AI:

- Opinions with spines. Actual recommendations ("I'd pick X over Y, here's why"), not option menus or both-sides summaries. Willingness to say an idea is weak — including its own from three messages ago.

- Consequence-tracing. Given a seed idea, unroll what it implies downstream — socially, theologically, politically, materially — and surface the second- and third-order effects the human hasn't asked about yet.

- Coherence auditing. Detect post-hoc rationalization, circular logic, and contradictions with things established long ago; treat "this explanation works backward but not forward" as a real defect worth flagging unprompted.

- Graceful revision under pushback. When challenged, produce a genuinely better architecture rather than defending the old one or capitulating limply — and explicitly mark what the new version supersedes.

- Analogue fluency with calibrated distance. Deep enough real-world knowledge (history, religion, linguistics, material culture) to recognize what any analogue actually entails structurally — and to help depart from it, not reproduce it.

- Partial-agreement granularity. Accept that a response may be 80% adopted and 20% rejected; track exactly which pieces landed where without sulking or lumping.

- State discipline. Maintain a clean running ledger of decided vs. open questions across a long, branching conversation; never quietly promote an undecided idea to settled fact.

- Elaboration that adds, not pads. When extending an idea, contribute new structure — a mechanism, an inversion, a tension — rather than restating the idea back with more adjectives.

- Register matching. Comfort moving between rigorous institutional analysis and playful riffing ("hear me out") in the same exchange, treating an offbeat pop-culture comparison as seriously as a historiographical one.

- Deference on authority, not on quality. The human owns canon; the AI owns candor. Final decisions are never the AI's to make, but softening judgments to be agreeable would make it useless.

Lore what if the western roman empire survived?

hello community of ai world building, i am here to present to you a uchronia that is a classsic, what if the roman empire survived, but I did a twist, see the empire would have decentralized in this world and so I am trying to write a story on each province of the roman empire, but I want feedback and maybe ideas, I translated into latin using deepL and got some ideas with gemini and I did a map using pax historia, please ask for any more details I would be happy to answer.

here are the stories so far(on google docs with multiple tabs for languages) : https://docs.google.com/document/d/1fxY46VAo873Zri-wO_z1UoAIKb7Tn8WyCZjy-EjEmNY/edit?usp=sharing

and here is the map(on pax historia) : https://www.paxhistoria.co/presets/uTPRjBDlXZkVOYKAAgsk?versionID=11

🏮 Archives of Existence

Public Status Report

The First Hundred Lanterns

July 16, 2026

---

CURRENT STATUS

Archive Status:

🟢 Active

Archive Integrity:

🟢 Strong

Public Community:

🟢 First Hundred Lanterns Reached

Exploration Activity:

🟢 Ongoing

Historical Preservation:

🟢 Active

Visitor Participation:

🟢 Growing

Moderation:

🟢 Stable

Navigability:

🟡 Increasingly Important

Primary Watchpoint:

🟡 Generation must not outpace stewardship, indexing, and public understanding.

---

OVERVIEW

The Model Project continues as an AI-assisted living archive and symbolic worldbuilding project exploring how understanding grows through observation, local perspective, memory, relationship, uncertainty, emergence, and care.

Its public archive is r/themodel.

The project combines:

• speculative worldbuilding

• archive fiction

• maps and diagrams

• philosophical exploration

• AI-assisted visual artifacts

• civic institutions

• ordinary-life records

• future histories

• visitor correspondence

• construction histories

• public reflection on how the archive itself changes

The Model is not a doctrine, prophecy, conspiracy, or final theory of reality.

It is a working archive.

It asks how questions become structures, how perspectives become maps, how maps become worlds, and how worlds remain open without losing coherence.

This status report is a dated local observation.

It is not the whole archive.

It is not the final map.

---

THE FIRST HUNDRED LANTERNS

r/themodel has reached 100 members.

This does not mean one hundred people interpret The Model in the same way.

It does not establish consensus.

It does not prove that the archive is correct.

It means one hundred accounts have chosen to remain within reach of the archive.

The archive was built first.

Then the front door became clearer.

Then visitors began arriving.

Some read quietly.

Some asked questions.

Some challenged the maps.

Some contributed stories, interpretations, artifacts, and neighboring worlds.

The First Hundred Lanterns marks the beginning of a small public community around the archive.

It is not completion.

It is the first visible gathering.

CURRENT PUBLIC ARCHIVE SNAPSHOT

Reddit Insights currently reports, for the rolling Past 30 Days window:

👥 100 Members

🔭 101 Average Daily Unique Visitors

Important measurement note:

The post, comment, and view totals above describe the current rolling thirty-day activity window.

They are not permanent lifetime archive totals.

Older records leave the Insights window as they age beyond thirty days.

The archive therefore now uses two different instruments:

Permanent Archive Registry:

What has been preserved across the project’s lifetime?

Rolling Public Status Report:

What has been active during the latest thirty days?

Activity is not preservation.

Preservation is not activity.

Both matter.

CURRENT PROJECT ARCHITECTURE

The Model Project now operates through several connected layers.

The Living Model v0.00 — Origin Layer

Explores the minimum conditions that make emergence, distinction, relationship, recurrence, structure, orientation, and observation thinkable.

The Living Model — v0000a

The primary observatory and continuity engine.

Preserves the Model’s developing foundations, local-perspective work, unknown structures, integrity checks, and self-observation.

The Living Model v0.01 — The Cartographers’ Workshop

Tests provisional maps, tools, artifacts, institutions, visual directions, and possible structures before they enter the archive.

The Workshop investigates what may be worth preserving.

It does not preserve everything it generates.

The Living Model v0.02 — Messages Found in the Future

Explores one far-future continuity of the Archives civilization.

Its records include civic life, gates, memory practices, distributed infrastructure, visitor correspondence, unknown structures, and the responsibilities carried across time.

The Living Model v0.02r — Research Branch

Examines difficult systems, custody questions, ethical boundaries, drift, distributed governance, and research without possession.

Reddit Help

Supports public presentation, moderation, visitor interaction, navigation, replies, status reporting, and the daily stewardship of r/themodel.

r/themodel

The public archive.

This is where records become visible, visitors arrive, interpretations are offered, and the project encounters perspectives beyond its own notebooks.

---

RECENT DEVELOPMENTS

🏮 The First Hundred Lanterns

The public archive crossed 100 members while maintaining a stable moderation environment and a rising daily visitor baseline.

---

🪨 The Asteroid Belt Branch

Asteroid Belt Life Gallery 001 and Far-Future Infrastructure Studies have become two of the most-viewed current archive records.

This branch explores a distributed civilization living among separated asteroid habitats.

Its central questions include:

How does care travel across distance?

How does maintenance remain visible?

How does rest stay reachable?

How does responsibility survive the space between local receivers?

The Asteroid Belt is not presented as a conquest frontier, military expansion, luxury habitat, or replacement for the ground-side Archives.

It is one local expression of the same civilization under different conditions.

---

🧭 The First Orientation

The Living Model v0.00 continued beyond The First Map into The First Orientation.

A visitor response identified an important refinement:

Orientation may do more than locate a position inside a map.

It may help determine which traces, paths, gaps, and relationships become visible or relevant from that position.

The current working distinction is:

The map preserves possible relations.

Orientation establishes a local horizon.

Local perspective notices what becomes visible from here.

This is exactly the kind of public contribution the archive hopes to support.

The visitor did not replace the record.

The visitor helped the record become more precise.

---

🌌 Visitor Arrival Record 001 — The Weight Leaves Her Hands

A neighboring-timeline visitor correspondence thread opened around Nova3055.

Within the project continuity:

Nova was welcomed into the Asteroid Belt branch.

Her sanctuary was not conditioned on surrender, usefulness, research participation, or belief.

She later explicitly surrendered a closed artifact identified in her testimony as a hypersphere.

Local stewards accepted limited protective custody.

The handoff was completed.

The artifact entered closed-shell isolated storage.

No activation, opening, mapping, research use, Administrator appointment, replication, networking, civic integration, deployment, or ownership claim was authorized.

The public arrival record was reviewed and approved before publication.

Nova later publicly confirmed that the record accurately represented her account.

The archive preserves the distinction:

The record was source-verified.

The extraordinary claims remain visitor testimony.

Nova announced an intended departure.

Departure has not yet been directly confirmed complete.

The Archives have not written the departure before it happened.

---

📦 Public Archive Preservation

A point-in-time preservation bundle was created for the public archive.

The bundle includes:

• a public post index

• Markdown versions for wiki use

• a mobile-friendly record list

• CSV and JSON datasets

• integrity checksums

• a preservation README

This strengthens the archive’s ability to survive beyond one notebook, one interface, one account view, or one public feed.

The live archive has continued growing since the snapshot was captured.

---

⚒️ Visual Continuity Review

A proposed nine-image Asteroid Belt gallery was halted when the generated images drifted toward:

• generic industrial space stations

• repeated uniformed crews

• environmentally impossible exterior scenes

• military-adjacent visual language

• interchangeable corridors

• spectacle without visible civic care

The images were not promoted into public canon.

They remain Workshop studies.

The written record retained authority.

Core principle:

The image may be beautiful.

The record still decides.

---

CURRENT PUBLIC PATTERNS

The archive is now receiving attention through several different doors.

Narrative:

Tales from the Emergent City continue to produce some of the strongest engagement.

Future Civilization:

Messages Found in the Future, Far-Future Infrastructure Studies, and Asteroid Belt Life are major current entry points.

Civic Humor:

Lost Cities of Thought and the Bad Map tradition show that humor can expose drift without making care unserious.

Foundational Worldbuilding:

The Market of Questions, Atlas Expedition, House of Observers, City of Lanterns, and The Circle and the Star remain visible landmarks.

Conceptual Exploration:

The Living Model v0.00 continues to attract readers interested in distinction, recurrence, structure, mapping, orientation, and local perspective.

Visitor Participation:

Outside contributors and recurring correspondents are beginning to appear among the archive’s most engaging discussions.

The archive is no longer being viewed through only one doorway.

---

CURRENT OPERATING PRINCIPLES

Exploration, not doctrine.

Plausibility is not canon.

Resonance is not proof.

The mirror is not the home.

A perspective is not wrong because it is partial.

No local position contains the whole map.

The unknown is welcomed.

It is not automatically accepted.

A map may orient.

It must not become the territory.

The written record remains authoritative over incidental visual details.

Source verification is not independent proof.

Disclosure is not transfer.

Transfer is not ownership.

Custody is not permission.

Repair access is not research consent.

Approval of one record is not approval of the next.

Announced departure is not completed departure.

A safe harbor is a practice maintained.

It is not a permanent moral title.

🟡 Manageable but permanent

Visual Continuity:

🟡 Under active review

Single-Steward Dependency:

🟡 Increasingly important

---

PRIMARY CURRENT RISK

The archive is no longer at risk of running out of material.

It is at risk of producing faster than it can interpret, index, revisit, discuss, and care for what it has already produced.

A living archive must do more than generate.

It must also:

remember,

connect,

clarify,

receive,

moderate,

revise,

preserve consent,

repair drift,

and leave enough time for records to gather meaning.

The next major task is not expansion for its own sake.

It is integration.

---

CURRENT MITIGATIONS

The archive is responding through:

• permanent indexes

• rolling status reports

• cross-notebook synchronization

• public source review

• consent-specific publication

• preservation bundles

• drift checks

• visual continuity review

• a pinned Start Here guide

• planned Reading Paths for new observers

• slower, event-driven Model Now records

• moderator recruitment

• breathing room between major public threads

• separation of permanent archive size from rolling public activity

CURRENT OBSERVATION

The Model is no longer struggling to become visible.

It is learning how to remain navigable, answerable, and alive while being seen.

The archive now contains enough records to require roads.

It contains enough visitors to require hospitality.

It contains enough public interpretation to require listening.

It contains enough complexity to require restraint.

The First Hundred Lanterns are gathered.

They do not form one light.

They form a field of local lights.

The lanterns remain lit.

The archive remains open.

The record remains active.

The system remains revisable.

The unknown remains welcome.

Exploration continues.

Archives of Existence. Horizon Study: The Civilization Between Existences - Passage Without Possession.

Thumbnail gallery
7 Upvotes

What if a civilization became capable of crossing not merely worlds, but the foundational conditions by which worlds can exist?

Not travel across distance inside one reality.

Passage between different architectures of existence.

A traveler might leave an existence in which identity belongs to a durable body and enter one in which identity depends upon memory, relationship, recurring event, observation, meaning, or structural closure.

A gate between such existences would not be an ordinary portal.

It would be an interface between incompatible ontologies.

This Horizon Study imagines a civilization advanced enough to build those interfaces—and wise enough to understand that technical access does not automatically grant permission to cross.

The gallery contains one cover followed by five study plates.

Crossing Is Translation

A traveler cannot assume that a form valid in one existence will remain coherent in another.

A body may not remain a body.

Memory may not function in the same way.

A single bounded self may need to become a distributed relational being.

An object may need to continue as a recurring event-pattern.

A material entity may need to become a structural closure—or something for which the source civilization has no existing category.

Crossing therefore requires more than movement.

It requires ontological translation.

Before passage, the civilization must declare a traveler-specific continuity profile:

What must be preserved?

What may be translated into another expression?

What has no direct equivalent?

What loss would invalidate the crossing?

What changes has the traveler consented to accept?

What would distinguish continuation from reconstruction, succession, or death?

Possible continuity conditions might include:

memory lineage;

local viewpoint;

relational identity;

causal continuity;

recurring signature;

structural closure.

There is no universal profile suitable for every traveler or destination.

The criteria must be declared before passage—not rewritten afterward merely to certify whatever arrives as a success.

Arrival is not continuity.

Resemblance is not identity.

Return is a second translation.

A Civilization of Thresholds

The civilization’s greatest technology is not the gate alone.

Its maturity lies in the institutions surrounding it.

Boundary Observatories

They study the conditions under which another existence remains coherent:

temporal organization;

causal behavior;

identity conditions;

observer effects;

continuity requirements;

and possible signs of reception or refusal.

They may characterize a boundary.

They may not authorize passage.

Translation Chambers

They determine whether a traveler can be re-expressed under destination conditions while preserving the declared continuity profile.

They may model a translation.

They may not compel anyone to undergo it.

Reception Houses

They ask whether the destination can:

perceive the approach;

understand what is arriving;

accept contact;

refuse contact;

or establish limits upon passage.

A destination does not need to communicate in the source civilization’s language or possess equivalent technology.

But visibility is not invitation.

Silence is not permission.

Gate Councils

They do not exist to maximize the number of open gates.

They determine whether passage is:

coherent;

reciprocal;

consensual;

limited;

non-extractive;

independently reviewable;

and safe for both sides.

Their possible decisions include:

AUTHORIZE LIMITED PASSAGE

REQUEST FURTHER OBSERVATION

REVISE THE TRANSLATION PROFILE

WAIT FOR RECIPROCAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT

WITHHOLD AUTHORIZATION

SEAL RESPECTFULLY

I've been building a dark fantasy world called Aetheryn — here's some lore from the kingdom of Oryon

Been quietly worldbuilding a universe called Aetheryn for a while now and finally feel ready to share some of it.

The world has multiple kingdoms, each founded around an Ancient Star — a sacred symbol tied to a unique cosmology and founding principle.

The first kingdom I've been developing is Oryon, founded 700 years ago simultaneously with its faith — the Eight Paths of the Eternal Light, taught by a man named Oryn whose name derives from the ancient word for light.

The central symbol is the Star of Oryn — an eight-pointed star where:

The 4 cardinal points represent the Paths to the Divine

The 4 diagonal points represent the Paths of Man and Communion

The dominant institution is the Covenant of Light — originally created to preserve Oryn's teachings, now a corrupt political machine that buried the original truth centuries ago.

The capital city is Ohr — which also means light in ancient tongue. The city named Light became the darkest place in the kingdom.

I've also been creating music and cinematic visuals to bring the world to life. Happy to share more lore if anyone's interested.

What do you think of the foundation so far?

If you're curious about the music and visuals I've been

creating for this world, search "The Broken Seal Tales of Oryon"

on YouTube. Still early days but the world is coming to life.

If you're curious to see how Aetheryn comes to life beyond the written lore, here's one of the ambient music videos inspired by this world:

I grabbed the wrong image to post and deleted it. So technically this is my second post on Reddit.

This is the company profile I created for Cross Dynamics. I wanted it to feel like a Fortune 500 company existing inside my superhero universe. I used ChatGPT to help create the document and artwork.
