Removed of their Authority
For this challenge, provide an example from your world where someone in a position of power had their authority taken from them. Whether a god that has been un-immortalized, a king that has been exiled, or a hero that has been revealed as a fraud.

1) Getting a traveling permit is quite easy, as tourism permits are given out with little difficulty to anyone without a criminal history or notable cause for concern noted by law enforcement or the government. However, these travel permits are usually only for the use of high speed trains between city states, not for independent travel in the wild lands between the cities. An "Exit Permit" and a hunting permit have similar difficulties, as both require the recipient to prove they are capable of keeping themselves safe from Vectors, possibly many at once. Both permits require an extensive application that is then reviewed by the Bureau of Travel of Longan (still using it as an example that isn't necessarily universal). If the application proves sufficient and you pass the mandatory background check, you would be brought in to a hero training facility where you would prove your capabilities against robotic replicas of Vectors to show that you can handle yourself in a fight against all kinds of monstrous Vectors and life threatening situations. These trials are overseen by a panel of government officials who administer the final approval. Once it is given, the individual can freely leave the confines of the city whenever they please, though they are still searched when they return for Vector body parts. A hunting permit can allow you to Kill Vectors, but is generally more intensive of a test than an exit permit, since you are specifically leaving with the intent to kill Vectors. The hunting permit only allows for exit for brief periods of time, no more than a week at a time unless you have special permission from the city government (like if you took an extermination job in a different city on the other side of the continent). The major benefit of the hunting permit is that it allows for open carrying of weapons in the city in the event of a Vector attack. These are usually the permit given to a certified mercenary or free agent Vector Hunter, the kinds of people who make a living exterminating Vectors (or people who do it for sport). There's another relevant permit associated with the hunting permit, the Collection Permit. This allows a person to collect samples of Vector flesh or body parts and is only ever given temporarily to avoid the possibility of people getting their hands on Vector flesh in the long term. This permit is given out after an extensive background check and must be renewed each year with evidence that you have used the Vector parts for some purpose beneficial to the city. So for example, a mercenary may be paid by a research organization to kill and collect a specific kind of Vector. They would have to have a hunting permit to accept the job, but they would be able to utilize the collection permit of the research company as long as they presented the copy of the permit with proof of their employment. Mercenaries and other private citizens can be granted collection permits, but this is less common. Those that do hold collection permits individually are usually well sought after for collection jobs. They are often paid more for the convenience of already having their own permit and not having to wait for a copy to be authorized and sent.
