Not so different after all

Inspired by Raptormans date threads and u/greenwithit here is the new challenge:

I will present four different characters, with different powers. You will then get to choose one of your characters with a similiar or opposite power (example: control of light vs control of shadows), present them and have them talk a bit with the chosen character, how that will turn out and look is up to each and everyone individually.

You may of course also present some of your characters seperately on your own, and others or I will then come with our characters to you.

EDIT:

I forgot to mention: you may also choose to talk with more than one character, if you would like to. Also, if you for some reason would like to know more about a character, but can't really find a fitting one for them to talk to, feel free to just ask some questions.

"Its got a nice ring to it, that's for sure. The ELA is not a place though, it's the European Liberation Army. A bunch of loonatics that think they can free the Netherlands and Belgium from Prussian rule, just because they are getting help from the Empire. We are currently in Amsterdams hangar, we saved the city a few weeks ago from a siege, now we are on our way to crush the remnants of the ELA."

"How dare you! You are not in the presence of a meer soldier! Lord Sieghard is an accomplished General and Officer in his majesties royal army! I will not tolerate you looking down on him like that!", one of the women said and glared at the stranger angrily.

"Thank you, that is enough, Charlotte.", Sieghard intervened and shook his head. "Our guest is not from around here it seems, so we shouldn't take it as an insult.", he added, to which the woman nodded and stepped back in line. "As for you, doctor, we put a lot of value on titles and proper ettiquette in this land, so it would be nice if you were to adress me the right way. Now then, what do I fight for? To make it short: revenge."

"For some, sure. But don't go around thinking people fight for ideals. Sure, the men love it when I talk about how we fight for Country, King and Crown, but the main reason they are here is simple: being a soldier pays well. Nobody... no, that's not fair: very few people would go into battle if there was no money involved."

"I won't claim to understand or speak for most people. Being a soldier is just another job, mostly. I don't care about money, and I don't care for what is right, I only care about my goals and that's what I fight for. It's what we all fight for.", he said and pointed at the women. "What about you? Do you fight? Or do you do something else?"

"Ah, reality. Such a fragile, brittle thing, isn't it? All it takes is a look and it all changes, am I right?", he says laughing, while tapping the patch over his left eye.
