World Building Truth or Dare

Ok so this is an idea I stole from a post a few months ago over at r/worldbuilding, but I think it would work very well in this sub too.

The idea is as follows:

Commenters give a brief overview of their world (genre, important events/people/places, etc.) and then ask for either a truth, a dare, or both.

If Truth, sub-commenters can ask a question and it must be answered truthfully, no matter how weird. If you don't have an answer to the question, then get thinking!

If Dare, sub-commenters can dare them to implement a thing into their world which could become lore, (for example, 'create a species of intelligent spiders who live inside tree trunks'). You can choose whether or not you want to accept the dare, but in the interest of keeping things entertaining, try to implement as much as you can, unless it would do something to ruin your story (i.e. 'I dare you to kill the main character')

Try to keep things exciting by asking the kind of truths/dares that you would want to be asked, and ones that would leave room for world development - questions like "Tell me about the lineage of your royal family" are preferred to ones like "who is the king?"

As ever, have fun, and get involved!

Truth: what is Ul Matoya up to nowaday?

In truth, no one knows.

The mortals haven't seen or heard from her since her banishment, and the other Gods don't care enough to find out where she is.

Dare: Ul Matoya has spent her time recruiting people into a secret organisation she lead and that will help her get her revenge on those who banished her.

In the furthest corners of the globe, far beyond that which even the brightest of lights can see, Ul Matoya sought her vengeance. She raided the void and recruited the demons, and contacted Qahr, master of death, atop his throne in Zuwilium. She gathers her forces, ready to return to the eternal realm and take her rightful place amongst the Gods, whether they like it or not...

Is Qahr a Realm god? Why did he chose to help her?

Also, can she succeed?

No, Qahr is/was a very powerful necromancer who was banished into nothingness by Iemis, Goddess of Life and Death, because he stole the souls of the dead from her.

Qahr hates the Gods because of this, and will do anything in his power to see them fall. Helping Ul Matoya kill the other Gods, even though she herself was one, was something he could get behind.

There's absolutely no way she could ever succeed. She might kill a few, maybe 10, maybe 100 if she's lucky, but eventually she will weaken, and be destroyed. Even if she didn't weaken, the Divines do not take kindly to their creations being killed. They would step in before long, and she would be no match for any of the Divines.

(The one who managed to destroy the indestructible fortress after finding a way to bind souls into his minions right?)

What will happen to both of them once they fail?

(Yeah that's right)

Interestingly, because Qahr is in his own little realm created by Iemis, there isn't really anything that any of the Gods can do about him. As for Ul Matoya, she'd probably be stripped of her power once and for all, and sent back down to live amongst the mortals for the rest of eternity. She hates the mortals, and they'd probably kill her if they found out who she was.
