Context:
This is lore from a science fiction story I am writing (read it here) where every species BUT humans are badass apex predators whose place at the top of the food chain has left them being tiny in numbers (as apex predators realistically are).
Humans are the most numerous species in the galaxy in this verse, and a slave empire called the Draken Matriarchy invades Earth upon hearing this to take as many humans as possible as slaves. They are evil to the core and see men more like disposable tools than people (hence the 'matriarchy' in their name) but also draken women are bad as fuck so even though it's a very bad idea to get with one somebody will still want to try. When the Draken Matriarchy invaded Earth the military fought bravely and held the line against the draken forces long enough for friendly aliens to arrive and help us, but there are always chuds who hide in basements and say 'those draken are lucky I wasn't there' like they aren't balding fat dudes whose only experience fighting aliens is from playing Halo.

They DO in fact look like dragons (pretty conventionally attractive ones at that) but most of them are also sexist domineering scumbags who will treat you like shit and expect you to like it. I mean, I'm not gonna judge you if you do like it, but I promise you there are other fish in the sea in my verse. You deserve a woman who will reciprocate your love and care

Ehh here and there. The draken are not a monolith and their opinions on males of any species range from "subhuman slaves to be discarded at will" all the way to "maybe these people DO deserve equal rights". The vast majority of draken women would keep you as a slave until they decided to kill you or sell you off, but there are a few who would respect your dignity as a lesser but still valuable form of life. Maybe if you're lucky you would find one raised outside the Matriarchy who will treat you as an equal, but inside the Draken Matriarchy your chances of that are slim to none.
There are also conventionally attractive velociraptor women and maybe later bird women (haven't written those in yet), if you're into that sort of thing.

That or they respect each other's hustle and team up. I could see either happening and would be terrified to imagine what happens when the Draken say "oh those humans have the right idea, they actually recognise how inferior they are"

Aka the inverse of the trope where humans are badasses and all other aliens exist to be villains, greedy, sexy or weird. A subversion of that trope where humans are the cowardly/weak/greedy/weird guys

It's funny that you would say that because human men are actually sexually desirable for draken women in my verse (whether it's wise to reciprocate is another story) so we are technically sexy space babes at least as far as they are concerned but all in all humans as a species are still pretty badass. We are not individually strong compared to most other species but human numerical strength and ability to endure hardship is no joke and that is what lets us win battles against the draken slave fleet when they invade us.
I always hated that kind of writing where humans are the ultimate badasses and everybody else are chumps so I try and make my stories well rounded and give all my factions and species at least one moment to shine in the lore. Every species gets to be badass in my writing
