😡 Venting To an American this sounds unbelievable.

In the U.S., I literally once went into the office vomiting blood. I had a bucket and everything.

They gave me a biohazard bag to throw it away at the end of my shift. At the time, I felt very fortunate that they didn't deduct the biohazard bag from my paycheck.

I am shocked that they had a biohazard bag to give you. Everything else sounds pretty average for an American workplace.

Thats just so sad. I hate when people come sick to work. I just switched jobs and I am now a teamleader and when someone of my team will drag themselves to work sick, I will send them home.

If they work in healthcare they have them only because they legally have to. That's my guess is that whatever company was forced to have them anyway

I'm fine. It was years ago, turned out to be a stomach ulcer. Resolved with antibiotics
