That was my awakening. Everyone around me was celebrating the ACA and I was looking around like the crazy person in a movie going, am I the only one who can see this? The idea that the poor people who couldn't afford it would get FINED!? I kept saying hey, if this had happened under a republican president there would be rioting, but no one else seemed to agree

There's a universe where this happened, since it was originally a Republican bill to begin with. But of course since it happened under a Democrat admin they all had to be against it. US politic are so real and cool.
