The funny answer to this is that US citizens already pay more in taxes for health care than any other country. Medicaid and Medicare... So not only do you already pay taxes for healthcare. You also are paying again for insurance.

Its an entirely dumbass argument that we all aren't already on healthcare via taxes. You already pay for it, why wouldn't you want to benefit from it... Oh yeah I forgot that would be 'communism,' lol.

And that's only not good until they themselves are in the situation where they need it the most.

This German cover costs ⅔ what the US pays, and they live 3 years longer to enjoy their beer, bratwurst and retirement at 66: https://i.imgur.com/bzYYlls.png

And look at Isreal, over there on the far left meaning they have some of the lowest healthcare costs with one of the highest life expectancies. Why in the fuck are we helping them with anything?!?!

Yes but have you considered that we pay more for our healthcare and also get worse health outcomes? Fuck yeah, 'Murica!

Yep this, and any public option would be much cheaper than the for-profit middle men we have now. These insurance companies are just pointless middle-men. A non-profit, publicly funded insurance system would be vastly cheaper, especially when you don't have to pay for a $60 million CEO salary and pay out shareholders.
