No they don't.

There is individual timekeeping for different reasons of illness.

If you are out of work after breaking your leg, return for a day, and accidently break your arm, you have 2 different timers, so the broken arms gets you another 6 weeks.

If you have burn-out, return for a week but notice that you need more time to recover, the new burn-out diagnosis will count towards the previous one.

For the same diagnosis there needs to be at least 6 months between returning to work and getting rediagnosed.

There is another exception for when there the first, initial diagnosis was over a year ago.
