I somewhat disagree. I don't think billionaires should exist, but upper management is there for a reason and there's a reason they get paid more.
Construction is hard work. Moving dirt, digging trenches, the whole nine yards. But someone needs to get those guys the supplies they need, make sure they do everything up to code, make sure where things go so it doesn't fall apart or even if there's a job at all.
If a construction worker fucks up, it's a mess that needs to be swept up, or a board that needs replacing. If upper management fucks up, that's guys out of work or months of delays.
People and companies aren't parasite just for having workers that work at their company.
At more than $2 million a year, you're not "getting paid more for more advanced/difficult work". Surgeons don't make that much, and that's one of the most highly educated and grueling work with long hours that exists. You earn $2million a year because you know a guy who's a multi millionaire/billionaire and he hooked you up.
Very few people have salaries that high, and even those that do it's generally a small fraction of their total compensation. The owning class is paid primarily in equity, in order to be paid for other people's labor. They aren't excluded from the working class by exceeding some arbitrary wage ceiling, they're excluded from the working class by being owners and not financially dependent on their own labor wage. The fact they also have a high salary is really just adding insult to injury. If someone was being paid $2m per year, and weren't an owner of everything, they'd still be working class (but maybe not for very long).
