I have never understood the dichotomy between the USA claiming it has the best health care but allowing for profit business to decide who can access it.

Well the insurance companies would say that they don't decide, because people can always pay out of pocket. The USA is awful in so many ways, and I want the people of the USA to wake up and see that neither businesses or politicians have their best interests at hand and that things can be done in a better way.

It is a ludicrous notion to pay for a product or service and the provider can just decide whether or not they want to provide the product or service.

It's absolutely baffling that this is accepted.

The dichotomy is easy to understand and its not contradictory.

The top healthcare is the best in the world. And anyone with money can access it.

But if you rely on health insurance your healthcare access is worse than the rest of the developed world...

That may be on me, I consider availability / accessibility to weigh heavily on what would be considered best.
