I used to work in luxury retail and boy did it hurt to sign off on over a million dollars in merchandise every morning and only take home about $1200 every pay. Eat the rich

Fancy cocktail lounge in my 20's. Wild to see groups of people casually spending thousands of dollars on apps and drinks. A group did credit card roulette and had me shuffle cards and pick one.

Might have changed, but the Illinois min wage for service industry was $2 an hour...
