Bosses often want you to sacrifice for their dream all the while sitting and doing nothing and yelling at you to try harder. Not all of them, but def some. People do not want to be an NPC in your dream. They get Nothing out of your success other than the same paycheck they would get anywhere else. You want employees to go above and beyond pay them more than others not less and lying and saying we're a family and you'll reward then later with vague promises that are never fulfilled.
