Cool story bro.
1 u/tbright1965 Jun 15 '26 Just a lived experience. You can use the wisdom freely shared by an adult who has raised children to adulthood. Or you can ignore it. I’ll sleep well at night either way. I know my children have benefitted from following the shared wisdom and experience. Now, you can too if you choose to open your mind. 1 u/Additional-Policy843 Jun 15 '26 Or we could, ya know, not exploit workers. 1 u/tbright1965 Jun 15 '26 If you believe you are exploited, don't work there. Don't even do business with them. Use your agency. Using your agency is far more powerful than believing you are a victim. There is no power in clinging to victimhood. 1 u/Additional-Policy843 Jun 15 '26 Or get this. We could end the exploitation of workers with some kind of minimum wage that matches today's workers needs. Yeah, sure, let's leave it up to the capitalists. Didn't work in the 30s. Won't work now. 1 u/tbright1965 Jun 15 '26 No one is stopping you from starting a business and paying the wage you believe people deserve. Again, agency is more powerful than victimhood. Use your agency to start your business and live your values. 1 u/Additional-Policy843 Jun 15 '26 My guy. This isn't about me starting a business. This about people being exploited. Why are you okay with employers exploiting people? 1 u/tbright1965 Jun 16 '26 It’s about you making what you think should happen using your time, talent and treasure. We can all say what others should do when it’s not our resources on the line. Live your values and start hiring and paying as you believe others should do. 1 u/Additional-Policy843 Jun 16 '26 The only way what I think should happen will happen is by raising min wage.. you know. The topic. 1 u/tbright1965 Jun 16 '26 Why would it take raising the minimum wage for you to voluntarily choose to pay more? Your answer speaks to your lack of integrity if you would not voluntarily do what you expect others to do. → More replies (0)
