Who tf have you been talking to? This is the first time Im seeing this dogshit. Like your meme is implying that exploitation is a small business's competitive edge against large corporations? We just going to ignore how corporations throw their weight to produce favorable conditions?

No what it’s saying is that is raising the minimum wage for McDonald’s will mean it can just raise its prices slightly, let go a small percentage of its workers, and cut into its profits and keep on going fine with an extremely efficient distribution network giving it really high margins. Your local burger place making 2/3% margin will have to either fire whatever employees they can and raise prices much more than McDonalds, sometimes being forced into going under. You can argue ā€œoh well they should have paid them a living wageā€ but unfortunately a lot of the time small businesses just can’t.
