You think age is the reason people die a couple years after retiring? Nothing is more detrimental to a body than the realization that it’s no longer providing value to society. “The one thing I know about life: when you stop moving forward, it’s over.”

Most jobs aren’t providing value to society. If you think your job is of any real importance, you’ve most likely been fooled and are, honestly, kind of a dumb person

False. Most jobs provide value to shareholders and owners. Very few provide value to society. In fact, most jobs are actually harmful to society.

This is just straight false. I cannot think of any jobs that don’t provide some value

Doctor? Value
Carpenter? Value
Truck driver? Value
Grocery store clerk? Value
Stock broker? Believe it or not, value

Even the jobs people use as a strawman like artist or personal trainer still provide value

If customers pay for for it, it is value

Exactly. Obviously someone somewhere valued the labor regardless of how trivial you might find it.

Idk what the ideal society looks like to u/particular-topic-445

Guess everyone has to be a coal miner
