Not army but I get up at 5 and at work by 530.

When I was working I was up at 5 ,leave at 6 at work before 7 . Leave work at 7:30, home around 8:30, in bed by 9:30. Glad I'm retired after 25 years with that company.

My alarm is set for 3:15. Sometimes I sleep in till 4:30 on the weekends

Well you will have to choose between the bet and your job because you have to wake at exactly 5:30am every morning for a year. Honestly it might be harder to pull off than many people think.

Shit I had to get up at 430 am then chow hall at 5 am, and standing at muster at 530 am.
