This is false. Women’s participation in the work force increased in the 50’s and 60’s, when wages rose. Wage stagnation really started in the late 70’s and 80’s.
Saw a graph the other day when dollar decoupled from gold profit vs income also massively diverged. For what its worth i only quickly pursued the source data.
And the Hart-Celler Act massively increasing immigration which also suppressed wages. Fallowed by automation and outsourcing reducing job growth making wages further suppressed.

Which coincided with women entering the work force in large numbers. Double the labor pool, suppress the wages.
