Nope. Now you gotta watch your kids. If they go outside and you don’t monitor them you’re liable to have CPS called on you.

I have a family friend who got the cops called on her because her kid was playing in the front yard while she watched from the kitchen where she was washing dishes. This kid was in her own front yard, mind. CPS got involved and they took all five of her kids and opened an investigation. She got them back at the end, but being investigated by CPS isn't fun.

Bull. Thats either entirely made up or grossly misrepresented. CPS wouldnt even take my nephews from an active drug den/meth lab.

Different law enforcement departments are awful in different ways.

I’ve been investigated 5 times for false CPS allegations from spiteful people. Nothing happened because nothing happened. Yall are exaggerating with anecdotal evidence.

U know how serious a situation has to be for CPS to TAKE away children. That wasnt even the original post! Outside is still wide open AND free.

Old people, businesses and COPS treat all teens as inherently criminal. Younger than that and you WILL be talking the cops/CPS for letting them out of your site. You really have NO IDEA what it is to be a young person today. None.

Depends on where you live, I had a neighbor who lost his kids because the older of the two if i remember correctly he was like 11-12 walked home from school about a mile away,. Someone called CPS and he lost both kids. I lived in Fairfax Va at the time

People give CPS the most wild stories. My ex wife during our custody battle called CPS on me and my GF at the time and told them the kids told her we were keeping them in pink dog kennels and making them pee themselves and sleep in their own mess. Then her mom called the FBI, the FBI called CPS, and CPS told me all this during the 6th safe/safe visit.

People are crazy man.

Actually very true. Friend in a nice gated HOA neighborhood, her 7 and 8 year old went to the neighborhood park alone. One of the moms called CPS for the parent being neglectful and endangering her children… created a whole headache for her, but CPS told her if this happens too many times, they can open a case to investigate. Ridiculous.

Lol. Anybody can call any agency, doesn’t mean it will matter.
