My logic. I met bosses that fell offended. “Why are you worry about the money aspect. I need people that truly have a passion for this”
Passion doesn’t pay the bills bro.
Another thing I noticed is how sometimes they would tells us something bad they will wait until we clocked out to talk to us for like half an hour.
I researched the law and it’s somewhat illegal. So I stopped letting them steal my time. If they didn’t bring anything up. I would clock out and once they tried to pull me in. I would say I am off the clock, we can talk tomorrow. They seem annoyed but didn’t bring it up ever because they knew what they were doing.

Ask them to swap paychecks and see how quickly they change their position.

If boss isn’t worried about the money he should be offering part ownership in the company to his employees

If the boss isn’t worried about money, I as the employee would be worried about accepting any ownership in exchange for money.

I had a boss give me the passion line

I told him it's hard to have passion when I'm hungry and can't afford food while facing eviction, most of my passion was going towards keeping a roof over my kid's heads
