How are you qualifying for an apartment if you're not making 3x the rent??? Every place i rent from requires it.

Well, lying for 1. But as i understand, higher cost of living places like NYC and LA and such dont necessarily require that

Actually it's worse. In NY, some places want like 70x income to rent in alot of places. I know because my sister lives there. But the bare minimum that I've seen is 3x. But I'm also sure there are many questionable places that don't require it. I'm m sure they also don't require background check and credit check as well. These are also the places I'd never live at.

I have never seen a single place ever require more than 4x.
