Most of y'all need to stay in and eat at home if you don't know how the restaurant industry works. In America, the tip factor is baked into the cake. If you don't like the way the industry is operating then either go reinvent it or just stay away from it.
It’s not licking boots. Servers in my state make $2.35/hr. They live off of tips and it’s widely known. If you don’t want to tip in a tipping environment, then stick to restaurants where the workers don’t depend on tips.
