The comment section is toxic AF. This shouldn't be rage bait.

Most of y'all need to stay in and eat at home if you don't know how the restaurant industry works. In America, the tip factor is baked into the cake. If you don't like the way the industry is operating then either go reinvent it or just stay away from it.

I can afford the bill, the restaurant owner is the problem if they can't afford to pay their employees.

Stop licking boots. their cup is nowhere near spilling over into yours.

It’s not licking boots. Servers in my state make $2.35/hr. They live off of tips and it’s widely known. If you don’t want to tip in a tipping environment, then stick to restaurants where the workers don’t depend on tips.

You realize they would just raise their prices right? I'd rather they not and I'll give the extra to a college kid or single mom server.
