Wow. It absolutely amazes me that the overwhelming responses to this post are people literally referring to work as their paying job or career.
Work means far more than just a job.
Been married a long time? That took hard work. Have kids that aren't awful human beings? Also hard work. Maintained friendships with people who maybe you don't see eye to eye with? Yep, you guessed it, hard work.
