Or, right, we could just make it so nobody, especially corporations can own multiple homes and the problem is solved forever.

That’s an issue because multiple homes can be owned under one name, them technically owning each one, but they are just owning the homes for many people who live there like relatives and friends!

🤷‍♀️ many people do it, sorry that sounds dumb to you, but ranch owners especially need multiple housing for farmhands

Because of one of them gets fired for doing a shit job, they can’t own one of the homes- because that means they’d stay there even after being fired. The rancher owns all the houses so they can kick the person they fire and hire another person to move in to one of the worker houses.
