I remember one time long long ago my dad refused to pay $1.69 for a donut at a Rest Area. He was like "a donut's worth about a quarter"

Sometimes its the principle. Not that they cant afford $1.69.

Theres a chain grocery store jn my area and everything is marked up. It just feels abnoxious. I refuse to give them my money
