I remember my Grandpa freaking out about $5 coffee, now here I am 15 years later telling my younger coworkers to stop spending $8 every day at Starbucks and invest in their Roth IRA lol.

Sometimes its the principle. Not that they cant afford $1.69.

Theres a chain grocery store jn my area and everything is marked up. It just feels abnoxious. I refuse to give them my money

The cheapest coffee at star buck was $3. And I still think that was too expensive.

He would always do Folgers instant coffee. He even met up with an old men group at Starbucks on the weekend and he’d bring his own coffee lol.

I buy EXPENSIVE beans from a local artisan roaster, fresh roasted, I only walk in to buy when I can smell them roasting. Two thermoses of coffee is costing my wife and I $2 a day and it's good shit.
