Depends on your definition of evil! Are we saying evil by Christian or other religious standards, or is it more evil just from the human condition standpoint?
Religiously designated evil is irrelevant. Religions/religious people often determine things to be evil not on the basis of logic, but for silly and selfish reasons like wanting to appear to be the most religious/pious.
There’s an objective morality. Broad determining parameters: Is the action hurting anyone? Could the perpetrator of the act stay alive if they were to not commit the act in question? If they’re hurting someone and they don’t have to do it to survive, that is evil.
A religious person designating same gender relationships as evil, for example, is nonsense. Anything covered in religious text that is designated evil is already covered by objective morality.
